First time dining here and I have no complaints. A friend ate chicken & waffles here in the past and invited me out to brunch on their 5 yr anniversary where they were offering free chicken & waffles. The food was made fresh to order, the chicken was well seasoned, the staff were friendly. I would highly recommend this place and I look fwd to going back in the summer to dine on their patio.
First time here and it was awesome. Coming from a winter morning workout and then having a nice brunch with friends. Space was nice and warm. We stayed by the bar. Reasonably minimal wait time for food & drinks. Our server was also very attentive and personable. Would definitely come back here!
The food was pretty good, though my chicken for my chicken and waffles was very fatty. I did not enjoy the meat even though it looked good. I was surprised that I was only served 3x 1/4 waffle and not a whole waffle. Seemed stingy. Hot honey was delicious, but there’s a $2 charge.nnEveryone else enjoyed their meals. Home fries were more like deeply roasted potatoes with skin - very dried out and not very potato-y. Table syrup was served for French toast, but maple syrup was requested and provided.nnBathrooms are in the basement. This is not an accessible restaurant.nnLots of loading and unloading items through the restaurant, up and down the stairs and back door - it was freezing.nnService was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Congrats on 5 years! I can see why MIA has been recommended in the neighborhood for brunch. The chicken and waffles were on offer today for free to celebrate their anniversary and we got a large portion of 4 fried chicken pieces over 3 waffles with maple cream, with optional bacon bits. The chicken was nice and juicy, good amount of batter to chicken ratio, not too salty or oily. The waffle was not standout to be fully honest but it did the job! Maple cream and bacon bits were nice toppings. They had some extra sauces ketchup and hot sauce too and table syrup for the waffles.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy vibes that made for an enjoyable dining experience. However, I gave 4 stars because the dinner menu had very limited options. While the taste of the dishes was amazing and exceeded expectations, a bit more variety on the menu would have made the experience perfect.
