The Only Cafe

I ordered cortado and it was the best coffee I drank in a long time!nnThe cafe is quite big. In one room, people were playing mahjong. In another - watching soccer. And yet another room looked dark, like a bar.

I used come regularly 20 years ago. Recently returned to Toronto from living in Thailand. Stopped in for a Sunday afternoon tea while out for a walk. All changed and yet not. A good reference for the more things change, the more things remain the same. I used to be served by two sweet elderly women. Long gone, I suspect.

My boyfriend and I absolutely love this café. He stayed at the inn above in the past and we have so many sweet memories from here. The service is incredible every single time. Even today, we had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest staff ever. Look at their latte art skills! They made my whole day.

This place is amazing. Theres no place like it in the city with its chill vibe, great welcoming staff and decent prices. The coffee is always great and the bar is fun as well. The interior is well designed and I always find it relaxing hanging out there.

The Only Cafe is the most popular cafe/bar in this neighborhood. It’s less than a min walk from Donlands station. I really like the coffee and pastries here. Their salads and yogurt/cereal jars are also very yummy vegan& gluten free ! The atmosphere is great, very warming and cozy. They often have events and bands playing live music. It’s a great place to relax, to meet people and to hang out with friends. I come here mostly during the day for coffee, but if you like beer, they have a huge collection of beers. Great fun in the bar. Highly recommended!
