Cute and cozy neighbourhood bar. There’s a few games, some that require coins and others don’t. They also have a stack of board games to use. The bartenders were so nice and provided recommendations based on what you usually drink. Clean space and bathrooms.
I live on the west side, came here to meet up with my friend who lives in the area and I have to say the trip was worth it! The waiter was friendly, attentive and gave great suggestions. Overall excellent service. The food and drinks were delicious. Everyone was very happy with their meal. Will definitely be coming back! Vegetarian options: They had some vegetarian options on the menu, as well as veggie gravy which is nice!
A pretty great place to be honest, the service was outstanding and the food was wonderful. I tried the schnitzel sandwich double up where the chicken is the bun! I really enjoyed it and it was flavourful. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again!
Great place to go with friends. We had my husbands birthday party and these guys were awesome. They were accommodating with seating and the food was amazing. Shout out to our server at the time Anna for the amazing service! Amazing beer on tap … and you can play games … !
Incredible, interesting food, great atmosphere and an amazing wine and beer list. The patio is also great since it’s off the street, it feels like a little getaway. Such a good go-to spot in our neighbourhood! The specials never disappoint and I’m always here for a toonie oyster night! We were also able to bring our dog on the patio and they were super accommodating, and she loved it.
I’ve been in this space for few iterations over the last many many years. This is the best so far. It’s so much brighter and cleaner feeling with the new renovations, but still very cozy and charming. The food is also delicious. I had a clam & ham chowder that was absolutely home made and delicious.
Came here for a birthday party and so glad that I discovered this spot. Great & fun vibe. We Loved how it’s quieter than bars in downtown toronto so it’s much easier to socialize, talk and have a good time. Didn’t get the chance to try their food but I am looking forward to going to this spot again to check out their food
This place has great beers, food and atmosphere at a decent price! The staff were as good as the food. Looking forward to returning!
Such a great addition to the neighbourhood. Been at least half a dozen times and the staff are always super nice and welcoming. Good beer selection including a rotating cask ale, and usually a nitro stout. Highly recommend the pierogis for food. Plus free skee ball, shuffleboard, and board games!Recommended dishesFries Basket, Potato & Cheese Pierogies
The Golden Pigeon never disappoints! From one rather brief late night visit where he kitchen was kind enough to make their "last call" a little flexible, to this evening's experience when I visited with an indecisive friend who asked a lot of questions... the staff were amazingly accommodating, offering excellent, informed suggestions, especially as to the beer selection. Seriously the most fun spot in Cabbagetown except for maybe karaoke up the street on Friday... even without the skeeball... chat up the gorgeously bearded Irish fella and I dare you to tell me you didn't have a fabulous evening
