Decor is good. Servers are great, especially Jasmin, ours, she was extremely good. Always smiling, understanding, quick and amazing. With all due respect, Unfortunately that only doesn’t make a good bite or restaurant. The food was not that great, not even close to Mediterranean food, the hummus was 2/10 I even had way better hummus in a plastic container to go, at a fast food place, I only gave it 3 star just because of the servers, actually 5 stars for the server , or else it would have been 1. Just because of the quality of food, I’m Mediterranean, 46 years old, I’ve tried too many places and come from a Mediterranean country ; so you cannot convince me this is Mediterranean food. It’s Mediterranean wanna be. It’s a nice place to try once. Seating was low for food, so if you’re thinking to go to this place to have quality food, forget it, if you want seating while drinking, having a nice lounge , then this is a nice place. Have in mind it’s extremely pricey. Money is no object but I refuse to pay for non quality food, if we knew that food wasn’t that great, would have just came for drinks only with a full stomach. Try it and let me know.
Visited last week, the restaurant was empty yet they seated us on a high top in the furthest corner. I don't understand why they wouldn't want to make their only guests comfortable in all their really nice seats. We were celebrating an anniversary which I noted on my reservations, this just left a bad taste in my mouth so we ordered drinks and app and ended up going somewhere else. Will not be back, that is for sure
Love this place! Keep in mind it is a new restaurant so they are still getting in the swing of things but we were not disappointed. Atmosphere is lavish yet relaxing. Food is great. The drink menu was done with expertise. I see some people complaining about the overall cost but this is normal Yorkville area pricing. 99% of staff is very lovely but one hostess approached us during our dinner in a passive aggressive manner which was not professional at all. That’s the reason for 4 start and not 5. Overall still lovely and will return to see this restaurant grow.
Extremely disappointing and not what you would expect from the W franchise. Although the place might be designed really nicely and have a rooftop patio also debatable everything else about it is terrible. We had a reservation for dinner. When asked for a wine menu or list we were told they don’t have one because they don’t really have much wine on hand at the moment with the exception of some low end wines at the bar available by glass. Tried a few of the appetizers and they were not so great and not what I would call Mediterranean food. Just because you add hummus to something it doesn’t make it Mediterranean. Once we got the cauliflower salad we found hair in it so we simply decided not to continue with main courses and simply left. I would not recommend this place at all. Also worth mentioning that prices are outrageous for the low quality food you get.
Hostess was not so accommodating but after our little hiccup it turned out to be a a wonderful night. The food was delicious. My favourite was the octopus. It was tender and the sauce went very well with it. Our waitress was always checking on us and very pleasant. Three star because first impressions are important.
The atmosphere here is great, it's beautiful inside. There selection of wine is interesting with some local choices from Ontario. Excellent customer service, cocktails are beautiful!! The price was also reasonable. Would go here again 10 out of 10.

Skylight is a Patio bar situated inside The W Toronto. Came here for some drinks while I was staying at The W. Lovely ambience and very flavourful drinks. They do have food on their menu but we didn't try any as were here only for drinks. The place is a bit high-end but is usually very busy and popular. Staff are quick and warm and will ensure you are having a good time.
Great ambience, and great service by our host. We went for the “Taste of Mexico” menu picture attached. However, the food was below our expectations and even below average compared any Mexican restaurant in Toronto. The presentations were perfect yet they fail to make up for the taste. I would recommend going only for drinks.
Very impressed with their cocktails! Our waitress was great too. Food were nicely presented and tasted great P.s I love their uniforms. One star less for their interiors and terrace. We were disappointed when we got to the “rooftop”. It’s only on the 9th floor with a view of nothing outside on their terrace.
