Very nice decor- bright and airy with nice plants and really nice lighting. Great offering of fresh baked goods, pizza, sandwiches, and grab and go items as well as some grocery/pantry items for sale including; pasta, sauces, wine, candy and snacks etc.. Large selection of canned and bottled cold drinks as well. I ordered the maple latte and it was really tasty. I also got the pepperoni pizza and it was delicious, also a pretty substantial slice for $6, definitely felt satisfied. The tomato sauce was really fresh and delicious. The barista was super friendly and very helpful. I sat and read a book and did a bit of work- there were quite a few people doing the same I was there around 1-4pm. There is free wifi for customers. I will definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: Many people with strollers, outdoor patio is great because there is street noise so if children are louder, not an issue- indoor people are reading and working so it might be distracting to have children if they are loud. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor, no steps- and outdoor patio is accessible from the sidewalk directly as well as through the cafe- neither entrance has any obstruction for a wheelchair.
Gorgeous place and kind staff. The drinks were good and the food was amazing. They are on the pricy side. They also serve dinner in the evening and let me know they host events as well. As I've mentioned, the place is beautiful and pretty big as well. Vegetarian options: Have have many different and delicious veggie opinions unlike other Italian places I've visited. Definitely vegetarian friendly, for drinks and food both. Highly recommend veggie and egg with avocado.
Happy to see an Italian cafe in the neighborhood. Busy on the first day. Had a cortado with "Subtext" espresso beans. Strong, on the bitter side, but good. Also had a biscotti and cream brioche, best I've had, not hard and covered with lots of chocolate. Brioche had fresh whipped cream but brioche isn't my thing. Can't wait to see gelato soon. Cafe has cute 50s style decor including textured glass on the right side of the main dining area. If youre a fan, the cafe has ball caps and canvas bags to show your pride. Tea is from Bonne Fille Tea. Italian market item such as anchovies, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and tatalli. Also has locally made candles from local artist. Shelves have "old school" mugs from the 50s...cute touch. Pizza is 1" thick and 8" long. Service was friendly and quick, even with the long line the first day. Cost: cortado $3.75; biscotti: $2; brioche $4. Pizza slice is $6-$8, depending on toppings. Probably 4.5*. Happy to see another good coffee place nearby to expand the choices of coffee.
I was truly excited for this place but I think it falls a bit below the expectations and doesn’t live up to the hype of the gusto family — and I’m a fan! The selection of food is very limited and I’d say quite average. The interior lacks some more kick. It couldve been a really cute place where I’d like to spend hours but it feels like yet another Italian cafe wanna be.
Gorgeous space, wonderful atmosphere and the best service! Zuzu soft opening today got a coffee, box of cookies sprinkle cookie is a sleeper - get 6 and two kinds of pizza; all delicious.
Since my fellow dancers found this spot a block away from our studio we’ve been coming here all the time for breakfast and lunch. It’s DIVINE! The seating, decor, ambience is always on point. And always clean, the staff is personable and authentic. I absolutely LOVE Cafe ZUZU. They have great coffee and great food every time! That bacon & egg sandwich is delicious. The staff are all so friendly and always make sure we have an overall satisfied experience. AJ and Dani in particular are amazing!! TOP latte art from Andrew & Griffin!
Amazing! So happy this place opened. Tyler is a gem and Ros makes the best coffee! With heated adirondack chairs outside to keep your tush and cup warm in the winter! 5 stars and NY vibes! :
Delicious sandwiches spacious and clean space We had the Turkey croissant and eggplant veggie sandwich and both were amazing
I’ve had lovely experiences at this new cafe! As many might have already pointed out, that breakfast sandwich is delicious. I’m not usually one to go for them, but this is the one place that made me change my mind about English Muffins. I like the ambiance too and the staff are friendly and inviting! Look forward to trying out more things!
