My entire house is furnished from Teppermans. Cheap financing... they claim interest free but with a 150 dollar administration fee that's not negligible. Great furniture and appliances at good prices. I'd probably buy a TV at a cheaper place however.

I have been with Teppermans for 25 years and have never had any problems , I would not go anywhere else .The service and staff at the Sarnia store are wonderful.Thank you for good service for a lot of years 😊.

As new apartment tenants, my girlfriend and I were very excited to visit Sarnia Teppermans to view a couch similar to one we first saw online. I called ahead to ensure that the couch we had wished to view, was in the showroom. When we arrived we were greeted by a sales associate by the name of Antonella, which turned out to the be the employee I spoke to on the phone earlier. Antonella did very well to explain the features of several couches and was helpful in explaining the benefits of a protection plan. We decided to go ahead with a purchase of a sectional that would be " build to order" and an expected ETA of 3-6 weeks. We also purchased the delivery and extended service plan. Antonella was more than happy to take full payment and ensure us we would hear from her in the coming weeks to schedule our delivery. Upon week 5, I decided I would call into to find out if there was any update on an expected ETA. I talked with Antonella and she explained that 2 pieces of my 3 piece couch were waiting in London, and the 3rd was expected by mid month (week 6) and that I should be hearing from her soon. I asked her if teppermans gave any incentive to customers that had extended wait times, and she told me she would talk to her managers and get back to me. **I will mention that we had been waiting for our couch to arrive, so we could plan many more purchases from Teppermans for the rest of our living room and apartment** Another week went by and no call. I attempted to reach Antonella one evening, but she wasnt working so I spoke with another sales associate about my situation. He explained to me that I must have misheard and that normal shipments wait times are 6-8 weeks. I was now quite confused. I asked to speak to a manager, but there was not one available. I called Windsor Teppermans and kindly asked for a manager to go over my bill of sale with me. A manager asked for my sales order number and explained the same info as Antonella first had: that 2/3 pieces had arrived in London and that the 3rd was expected by end of month. This manager also assured me that she would have, Andrew, the general manager from Sarnia call me the next day. Andrew called me to confirm that yes I was waiting on 1 piece of my couch and that he was more than happy to offer me a $50 Teppermans gift card to spend in "his" store. And that he would reach out to me upon delivery. On Tuesday, October 24th (week 9), I decided to call a 3rd store (Kitchener) and inquire about the stock of the couch we were expecting for delivery. I was informed that the couch was only a 2 piece sectional, and the 3rd piece did not exist - that it was simply a "kit" listed for dimensions of the couch. He explained that my full couch had been sitting in London for 4 weeks and that he would reach out for Sarnia to contact me for delivery. At this point, I was livid! Not only had my sales associate, Antonella, let me down but a manager at another store and the Sarnia general manager, Andrew had "reviewed" my order! I called Teppermans 1-800 number and scheduled my delivery. As I was on the the call, our Sarnia Sales associate Antonelle left a voicemail message stating "some guy called me and told me to reach out to you because your couch is now in stock" @ 8:30pm at night. What a joke! We have now had my couch for 8 days, and we honestly absolutely love it! That is the only good thing I have to say about the whole entire experience. We have never had as much as a call or email from anyone at Teppermans since, and we are not surprised. Never again will we purchase anything from Sarnia Teppermans, and anyone that asks me about my experience will be directed to this lengthy review. If I do not hear back from someone at Teppermans of Canada, I will never be stepping foot into another store. Thanks for your time in reading my review, and I hope other consumers will learn to be hasty with promises from the staff @ Sarnia Teppermans. ***And at the very least Antonella and Andrew... please learn from this major inconvience***

Helpful service. Prices are a little high for quality of items. Sale prices are much more affordable.

First off, I'm a first time customer of Tepperman's. I was hestistant and nervous as this is the first time I've purchased new furniture from a furniture showroom store and quite honestly I'm quite turned off by my experience. Myself and my girlfriend first went into the Sarnia Tepperman's store to look at a bedroom set. With the help of Justin Round, our salesman, he helped us locate the exact one that we liked the appearance and functionality of, The Wyatt six piece bedroom set, although I only ordered the four pieces. Justin seemed distant, not personable, and not very informative to the first time buyer, never followed through with us and basically just pointed the general area where to go with very little direction to a first time customer. We wanted this bedset though regardless of how it was represented to us so we shrugged off the fact that Justin seemed like he wanted nothing to do with us. We spoke to a credit representative and went through the details and shipping, went with the one year no interest plan with a no mess delivery/assembly. We ordered this on December 26th 2016 with a delivery for January 14th 2017, one of the soonest Saturday deliveries that they could do and one that both my girlfriend and I did not have to work. They informed me by phone call two days before delivery and once again the day of delivery that they were shipping it. I made sure that my house was ready for it, I sold my old bedset on the Friday before delivery to make room in my bedroom for assembly of everything. My new mattress laid on my living floor the night before delivery awaiting it's new frame to sit on, my couch and loveseat stacked upon each other to make space in my living room for this mattress. My coffee tables and daughters toys spread in what space I had left between my kitchen and living room. All of my clothing and other pieces that were in my bedroom were stacked among my office with no room to even walk through it. I did everything I could to accommodate for the delivery. So the furniture arrived and was brought into my home. The long dresser, chest, and nightstand were pre-assembled, which left the one delivery driver to assemble the bed frame, but it came with no hardware, bolts or nuts and instruction manual to assemble the bed frame. Every piece of furniture had a sticker of Tepperman's inspection dated for the 13th of January 2017, one day before delivery. The chest had a screw in the back that was a quarter of an inch not screwed in, the backing veneer on the long dresser was warped a half inch out with a wobble in how it stood as well, the head had a long scratch on the lower side that would be covered by the mattress, and a chip in the drawer of head board that looked to be covered with wood filler and blue marker. The delivery drivers called their people about the missing hardware and they had suggested to put text books under it to support it until a technician could arrive, which I had the impression was later that day, I was clearly wrong after I had called back to customer care a couple hours later after the delivery men had left my half assembled bed together with boxes and plastic strewn about my house. Customer care asked us to send pictures of the damages to an email and explain our situation, we did or at least tried before the email sent failed but in the meantime we were on the phone with the manager in Sarnia, Kathy Sitter, she told us that they were currently looking at the pictures, they hadn't even received them yet...Four nights of sleeping in my living room, two managers spoken to, and at least four customer care specialist over the phone, and I'm finally getting a new dresser, new headboard, hardware and instructions to be delivered January 17 2017 between one and four pm. My girlfriend is taking time off work just to be there for this delivery. Thank you for just waiving my no mess delivery fee that I never even received and exchanging the furniture that came to me damaged, too bad you couldn't have done more in a much more timely manner to accommodate your paying customers.
