PC Service Depot

I have a problem with my motherboard, people in the repair business and on reliable web sites strongly advice you to not try and repair this issue for many logical reasons, they advise you to get a new motherboard or if the computer is older just buy another one, used or new.... So I walked into this store to price new motherboards and refurbished laptops, i told Herbert Wu that I had motherboard issues and would like to price new ones, Herbert said that he does not sell new motherboards but will diagnose and repair my existing motherboard....so I immediately am suspicious about his thinking and why does he just want to "repair" it...I am thinking wow how much will that cost and is it a good idea since it seems apparent that you will be throwing good money after bad with no guarantee....my computer is 8 years old...this was not relevant to Wu Then Wu decided to get argumentative, arrogant and highly annoying...I told him that there is something wrong with him and I would be a fool to ever begin to trust him So, my suggestion is to read a lot of the reviews and in particular notice the review of someone who has worked for Wu..it is a blistering review that totally condemns Wu's personality and character...Wu chose not to respond to the ex-employees accusations..there are some good reviews..there are many very very bad reviews...I would give more weight to the bad reviews I found Wu to be a highly suspicious character with a powder keg combative character I advise everybody to stay away from this character...chances are high that you will regret trusting Wu I am hoping for a response from Wu about my posting...I look forward to this debate to continue!

My macbook repair was made as simple, easy, and affordable as possible. The service was incredible and courteous. What's more, I received service here that solved an issue that was ignored by an apple dealer in the past, which led to the damage. I was also educated on how to keep my old macbook pro (2010) running well, when apple has told me several times that they are abandoning it. Overall, I couldn't recommend this business enough.

Take it from someone who used to work here, never go here. The owner is very shady and is also very rude to his customers and employees. There wasn't a single day I worked there where he didn't try to screw over a customer or give them bad information to try and squeeze more money out of them (i.e a customer got a virus on his computer a day after he pick it up from being repaired. The owner told him he got it from "installing Google Chrome" and told him just to use Internet Explorer and sold him an over priced copy of Kapersky Internet Security). There were also multiple customers who came in complaining that the computers their computers were missing RAM and screws after they had brought it in to the store. I could go on for awhile with reasons not to bring your business to this place, but I think you get the idea, and if you think I am just a disgruntled ex-employee check out the other reviews for this place. Stores like PC Depot are the reason that no one wants to shop local anymore.
