Canadian Tire

The Canadian Tire in Sarnia is a reliable one-stop shop for many of my household needs. They have a decent selection of products, from automotive supplies to home goods and seasonal items. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find what I need. The staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. While it can get busy at times, especially during peak seasons, the store is usually manageable. Overall, it's a convenient location with helpful staff and a good variety of products.

I had the most amazing experience with your automotive department recently and needed to express my feelings publicly. It's Thanksgiving weekend, my truck was assessed and repaired wayyyy quicker and less expensive than I expected!! The service department were helpful and pleasant beyond it being just a job for them... I sensed that they worked together as a team and helped each other to be effective and efficient, they spoke to each other with respect and kindness and to me the same way. Thank you so much Fran for your kind help, Chris K., Todd and a notable thank you to Chris M. for your help, honesty and professionalism. I have my truck for the weekend and can visit family and friends freely, and I will be recommending your team to all the good people I know.

Logistical nightmare to do a pickup of rims here. Couldn't have been any worse. Not only did it take them 25 minutes to find all 4, but all 4 were damaged. Then, when leaving the store, the invoice from the service department wasn't enough to prove I owned them!nnSo anyways, the other reviews are correct. You can do an online order, it will say it's ready, but it is indeed not ready. You show up and the search begins.nnCalling the number Canadian Tire replied to this review with did nothing.

I went in to buy some Christmas items with my 2 young kids, and while using a full gift card, the system crashed and drained the gift card of $50, which the cashier saw. When the system came back on, the card was empty. She called the manager, Trevor, who proceeded to get on the phone to try to reload the card….keeping us there for over 40 minutes. I asked why we aren’t being rung through and given a $50 credit so we can leave and he can sort it out later, since he knows the money was there, and he shrugged his shoulders. This manager has no clue how to provide customer service, and the whole experience was an embarrassment for the company. Shameful. Would give zero stars if I could.

Online ordering at the Sarnia store simply means you’ll be sent emails to pick up orders the staff did NOT pull.nnYou’ll need corporate to cancel the order and then they just disconnect your call when you want to file a complaint against the staff member that said “if you leave with the products you paid for that’s theft” if you want the order you were emailed to go get when the staff didn’t bother to do their job…With my emailed proof of purchase apparently getting just what I’ve got proof of ordering and being told it is ready when no it wasn’t is now theft?!?! WownnGood luck keeping your doors open if this is how you treat customers.
