Tanoshii Sushi

Check out this new low key takeout sushi spot! Such good value to satisfy that sushi crave. We loved the variety of rolls in their platter! The takoyaki was also delicious and we could taste the octopus bits.

Been wanting to try this sushi spot as it’s only a short drive away! They specialize in takeout sushi and is perfect for get togethers to enjoy platters! They offer a wide variety of different sushi, sashimi, rolls and sides too! Had a poke bowl, 16pc sushi assortment and the takoyaki. The takoyaki here is actually so good! Got a nice chunk of squid in each piece of takoyaki, which is a major plus! The fish is fresh and in the poke, it really complemented everything very nicely from the dressing to the greens and rice Definitely coming back as they have an all salmon dish that comes is sashimi, sushi and rolls, which is perfect for me cuz I love salmon! Service was awesome as they give themselves enough time to prepare and have your order ready to go by the time you step in. Be patient as English is their second language, bite rushing is still understandable! Love the effort they are putting f into the business! Great job overall! Came here on a Thursday night tonight to pick up dinner since I was too tired to dine in anywhere. I called in around 3 p.m. to order for 5:30 p.m. pick up. This is our first time trying this local joint. We ordered the assorted sashimi sushi roll platter 40 pcs + rainbow roll 8 pcs. I heard that they don't give much sashimi which was very apparent. Only 3 pieces of salmon, white fish & surf clam. The maki was good but overkill as it was 8 pieces of each type. It needed to be more evenly divided otherwise I would just order assorted sushi and rolls since it is cheaper. Everything tasted good but not spectacular. I also didn't like that the condiments were little packets you would get from a food court or grocery store selling sushi and the fact that we only got 2 Wasabi packets for 48 pieces. Money saving tip is 15% off when you call or walk in to order with minimum spend of $40 before tax and cash payment. I would go again and not order a party tray with sashimi since they are stingy with that & ask for more wasabi packets.

This is a neighborhood takeaway joint. Service was good they could clearly explain the contents of the platters on the menu. 15% off if paying by cash, but prices aren't competitive compared to other places that are discounted on apps. I wanted to like this place as I was trying a new restaurant for my birthday but the sashimi platter was really disappointing The fish didn't taste fresh- could smell the salmon a little bit, tuna was bland, and butterfish was seeping like it was just defrosted. Rolls are standard, some pieces had extra rice as they were end pieces. The tai tataki was worth getting though.

Bought 40pcs sushi sashimi tray last weekend. The fish and avocado taste fresh! But the soy sauce is a little bit salty. If you pay cash, you could get 15% off for $40+ order.

It's very convenient in the neighborhood, you don't have to go far if you want to eat sushi, there are many choices, and the price is good.

New sushi spot alert Tried Tanoshii for the first time with my family. The party trays are well priced and the rolls are fresh and tasty. The salmon poke bowl was a pleasant surprise as there aren’t many spots for poke around here! Will definitely be a regular here.

I personally wouldn't have tried this place since I'm fairly certain the old reviews where everyone gave 5 stars are fake or belong to people associated with the owners of the establishment and I don't want to support a place that does that. However, I was not the one who chose nor paid for the meal so here I am writing a review. The poor rating has nothing to do with what I suspect are fake reviews. I simply believe the quality was poor and food wasn't fresh. Plus it poisoned another family member who ate it. There's lots of sushi restaurants out there and you aren't missing out by not trying this place out.
