I came here to enjoy some Chinese desserts with friends. The restaurant was kinda old style. I think the cold dessert ~ Sago & Coconut Milk with Mango was the best. The other items were just ok. They were busy late at night. It was good that we could enjoy our food slowly and not being rushed to leave. This place opens till late at night so it is an option if you want to have a late night snack or dessert.
This dessert place has been here since the 90's; it is one of my goto places for Chinese desserts. I ordered the "Stewed Egg White w/Milk & Ginger Juice", "Sesame Dumpling w/Mixed" and "Mango Pancake". All were delicious except the "Stewed Egg White w/ Milk & Ginger Juice" was overcooked and the sides was bubbling. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions. Price was reasonable post covid and inflation price. Took pictures of the menu so you guys can see the prices and items. Later days :
$20 after tax and tips things ordered: street style rice rolls, mango pudding with evaporated milk not pictured; curry fish balls. The glutinous rice balls were delivered to me by mistake Reason for rating: I think this place is much better than Traceys dessert at FMP. Dishes are cheaper and more in quantity. Nothing too remarkable about the dishes but I enjoyed that I was able to add more sauce for the rice rolls. The mango pudding was quite sweet even though mangos aren't in season. I would definitely come back with friends. Also +1 point since they were playing Mirror in the shop!
Got the sesame glutinous balls in ginger soup 4/5. Sesame filing was good but the ginger soup did not have much flavor. I liked that it wasn’t overly sweet. Curry fish balls were 3/5
Chinese dessert restaurant. The desserts tasted good and prices were reasonable. Service and food came out slow as there were only 2 people working. Restaurant closes late so you can enjoy a snack or dessert after dinner.
2022.11 typical dessert. Nothing much to be noted. Service is good
It just wonderful. I always can find my favorite dessert here. And they won't too sweet. I will strongly recommend. I am looking forward they will come out some new idea, it will be perfect.
Great dessert place with various options of Chinese herbal drinks and Chinese desserts.
I’ve never been more humiliated in my life. They only take cash and have no sign for that. Me and my partner were going to go get cash and she told me to stay back because she thinks we were going to steal. It was a mango pudding $6. She was being so rude and racist and I can’t believe that you don’t have a sign if your only accepting cash.
Quite alot of selection and price is good. It's quite a big bowl of traditional Chinese dessert. Not too sweet. Just perfect! It's very hard to find this type of traditional dessert shop in Toronto. Customer service and food quality is excellent I really enjoyed it much.
