Lot of different kinds of clay pot rice.   We have ordered pork with salty fish and ribs with Chinese sausage.  Both taste very good with slightly burned rice at the boot of the pot which is a good thing .   Other dishes is about the same as other Chinese restaurants.   Waiting time for clay pot rice is long but you won’t be disappointed.  Also you can’t stay there for too long as there are people waiting to be seated all the time.

Can't believe they have rice in hot pot in Toronto! Visited Bowl Kee for dinner and the restaurant is nearly full. The rice in hot pots are great food for cold times! The problem is their portion, forbid you to order many taste to try. Parking is not a problem and the restaurant location is convenient. Definitely will visit again next time going to Toronto!

This restaurant has been here for a long time and it's like a gem in the plaza. But also heard they switched management.  They offer more than just claypot rice. They have seafood and authentic Chinese stir fry dishes.  Chili oil was good. LLBO too.  Limited seatings, great service. Boss lady was professional and kind.  It can get loud when restaurant is full.

If you love Clay Pot Rice, you may want to try this restaurant. They offer many different types of Clay Pot Rice with size for 2, 3, 4 and 6 people. They recommend to order the rick ahead as it takes 20-25mins to cook. The restaurant is not big and they are busy, so don't expect to sit there and chit chat after you finished the meal at the busy time. Minced prok with salted fish Clay Pot rice is my favorite, however, the Chinese sauage  and spare ribs with black bean sauce is also delicious.  The best part is the burned rice at the bottom of the pot, it is so good.

I love this place! It’s not a fancy looking restaurant but food was delicious every time. I prefer their food over anyone else in that area. Open till 12am so great for girls night out Clean and friendly staff

We ordered four dishes and pot of rice bowl. Rice is up to the standard. Fried capelins is good. Friendly services.

The restaurant was clean and not crowded. They were very careful with the Covid-19 restrictions. The hot pot rice was served hot and fresh because they prepared by order. We tried their pan-fried bean curd with mince meat. It was tasty. They offered complimentary soup and red bean cake dessert. They have discount for dine-in and take outs now. Its worth it!  They are still opened during lockdown. We tried their takeout set dinner a few times. We ordered a set dinner and tried different main courses each time. They included complimentary soup and red bean cakes as well. You can get a discount of 20% for take outs if you pay cash. The taste was as good as dine in and the portion was reasonable.  Recent Visit: We came here for early dinner dine in on a Sunday and felt lucky to get a table without a reservation. They got very busy after we were seated. The food came quickly and everything tasted quite good in general. Unfortunately, we didn’t get much service after it was full house. When people started to line up at their door, they even gave us pressure to pay & leave while some of us were still eating. This is the downside when we were dining here. I hope they can improved on this matter so we can be more happy to come here more often.

One of my first Asian food experience here in Toronto and hence Markham. This is very Hong Kong style of claypot rice which is not very charred at the bottom real claypot rice enthusiasts will love the charr at the bottom of the rice and enjoy scraping it out to eat compared to the ones I get back home in Southeast Asia specifically Singapore. They are very conservative with oil and dark soy sauce so it's really banking on the quality of the waxed sausage and chicken meat which provided adequate flavour.  We ordered fish maw soup as well, which was a pretty luxurious item as it was relatively pricey. The fish maw was not the larger pieces but more of diced somehow but it was easy to consume without burning your tongue.  Overall a pretty good experience and the price point here is lower than what you can get downtown and portions larger.

We were pleasantly surprised how good the food was here. The portions were larger than expected and the food was super tasty. And the price was right too! This place is our new favourite go-to place for rice casseroles and fried noodles now. Everyone left with full bellies and super happy! Definitely a MUST try!!!
