Dagu Rice Noodle Unionville

Came here twice lunch and dinner. Both visits is by myself. Services is excellent here, they come and ask you from time to time and make sure you get what you need! This is a chain noodle restaurant and you expect the same quality like any other Dagu location. Noodle can refill for free which is great if you are hungry. This location is very clean and table space out nicely! I feel very comfortable eating at this restaurant.... Is a feeling but it count! At the end of the day this is a chain restaurant and if you like the taste of their noodles this place have really good service to top it up.

A pleasant surprise! I came here not by choice but by convenience, because the restaurant I planned to go was closed. This was the first time I tried rice noodle of western china cuisine in Ontario and did not know what to expect. I was greeted by a smiling waitress at the door and was escorted to my table. When asked, she recommended Today's Wednesday's lunch Special with drink for $9.99 and mentioned Thursday's Special was also available. I chose Thursday's. Sooner than expected, she brought a tray with 12 ingredients, a bowl of rice noodle and a can of coke, followed by a bowl of sizzling beef bone soup. Excellent food presentation for this price range! I asked the waitress how to eat the noodle. She patiently introduced each ingredient, asked whether I wanted it and gently put each desirable ingredient into the soup for me. She also told me that I could order as much noodle as I could eat, free of additional charges. The soup was heavenly delicious! Obviously they cooked it with heart. Excellent service, excellent food presentation and excellent cooking! Worth more than the price I paid. The waitress deserved a generous tip too. I would recommend it.

I ordered the rice noodle soup with braised bone-in beef. The soup itself was perfectly hot, really good and tasty. The beef included was very very tough and almost not edible see pictures. I will be back though as I really enjoyed the soup. Hopefully the meat toughness issue will be resolved by then!

We got their Spicy Rice Noodle Soup w/ Pork Intestine, Signature Rice Noodle Soup w/ Braised Bone-in Pork, and Crispy Pork Fillet w/ Sichuan Peppercorn. Spicy Rice Noodle Soup w/ Pork Intestine had an OKAY broth, it wasn’t overly spicy, not was it numbing, the Pork Intestine was good as well! The Signature came in a RICH, milky broth, it had two GIANT Pork Bone that was tender, it was like having GamJaTang but with Rice Noodles! All their Rice Noodle Soup came with extra toppings like Wood Ear Mushrooms, Corn, Ground Pork, Ham, Chinese Sausages, Quail Egg, and Veggies! Crispy Pork Fillet was crispy, it came in good portions, it wasn’t super numbing, but still well-seasoned!

Very tasty rice noodle, with a lot of choices provided. Expecially like the salty chicken, cannot stop once i started eating. Portion is big with reasonable price. The environment is neat and tidy. Excellent social distancing maintained by special table arrangement. Servers/waitress are so nice, friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.

If you crave hot soup and rice noodles at an affordable price, this is the place to go. Highly recommend to dine-in for the proper experience.

This was a pretty fun experience; we had a few orders of the Crossing the Bridge bowls, and mixing everything you like in a rapidly boiling bowl of noodles is more enjoyable than I first imagined, akin to hot pot but much more affordable. I liked the original broth a lot more than the spicy, the latter lacks the pork bone flavour, and the hot oil overpowers the taste of everything. Still, I recommend this if you're in the mood for an entertaining meal.

Very good food and exceptional service!! We originally ordered Ubereats pickup, but instead of going home to eat, we changed our mind and wanted to see if we could eat at the restaurant instead. The service from the staff was exceptionally good. They were very accommodating and even used their signature clay bowls for the noodles so that we would have a better experience. Another huge plus is that at least one of the servers was trilingual – fluent in English, a Cantonese, and Mandarin. We will definitely visit again. Great job!!

The restaurant was clean and the service was good. The food was served hot and fresh. Although it was a bit pricey but the portion was good for value. The soup base had msg in it so it made me very thirsty after the meal.
