Today, for a quick lunch, I pick this restaurant for their famous Malaysia food. Their Singapore Laksa taste very good. The picture on the menu looks rather hot , but it taste is good and yummy , rather mild, just like the taste I have had in Singapore ! Have tried their other dishes before , all are good. They do have curry crab and lobster , hope to try it next time !
Delicious Malaysian food. Probably one of the best in the GTA. Hainan chicken was yummy. Curry crab was flavourful. Char kway teow had tons of "wok hei". Lady fingers with belachan sauce was on point. Food came out quick and served piping hot. Service was fast and attentive. Will definitely come back and try their other Malaysian dishes.
Above average ba fung tong style lobster a hk cafe. Set menu price of $55 plus 5 for hk style. They started off with house soup 4/5, veggies 4/5 vg flavourful then the star of the meal was the lobster 5/5 you can see minimal spacing betwen the shell and meat which mean it is very fresh. Their techniques was equal or better then other big lobster restaurants in GTA. They slice fresh garlic unlike other that had become a little sloppy with the techniques. Look at how clean the water in the lobster tank. Unlike other places where the water is murky. The lobster fried rice 4/5 decent wok hay flavour. Hong Kong tea 4/5 solid strong taste. It was very busy and they had a lot of take out orders, BUT the staff was attentive and did the best they can. Go early at 11:30 am, 5:30 pm or at 1:45 pm before the tea time special that start at 230. I have been there before for the Malaysian curry crab which is solid but it had a high price. But the other curry still have a great taste and flovour
We ordered their Malay special noodles - came out within 5 mins, taste alright nothing special - more like Cantonese styled more. Waited another 30 mins for the tofu and fish dish. Oh gosh, the fish were extremely salty and it came to us not hot. Overall food were not as great as years ago - probably they changed chefs. Service were super slow, 2 waitresses in the restaurant. Price were overpriced given the food quality. Will not be coming back. Very disappointed.
HK style eatery, quick and friendly service. Tasty, good portions and reasonably priced. They have some more pricy combos that include seafood options ie: curry crab. Nothing fancy, but definitely hits the spot!
Malaysian food tastes great. Like the rice noodle and the curry chicken. Not too spicy and good for seniors too.Food: 5/5
Hing Kong style and Malaysian style fast food. Always good quality, sometimes takes a little long when it gets busy. Good quality, but portion sizes have reduced latelyFood: 5/5
was excited to try the Malay Thai dishes, but was disappointed. The dinner experience was not good. The pictures on the menu look very attractive. The server didn't know the menu well. We asked her how were the dishes, she kept running back and forth to the kitchen and asked. lol We order the roti with curry sauce. It came just the roti. We asked for the curry sauce. She told us the menu was wrong. We needed to.pay for the sauce. The dishes in flat noodles and indo fried rice. they all tasted the same. The curry chicken dish, the chicken was cooked then apply the curry sauce on. I think they have room for improvement.
Service is slow. Only one server is available. Food taste is average. Pricy for the food that I have ordered. Do not come with soup / drink.
A Hong Kong style cafe restaurant with a great selection of Malaysian & Indonesian dishes on the menu, reasonably priced, big portions and good quality. Favourites are baked chicken rice with Portuguese sauce and Char Kwei Teow nice Wok Hei.
