Sushi Mura

So happy to have this new sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. It exceeds all my expectations regarding quality, quantity, and price. The staff and ambiance are great as well. Highly recommend. The place can get pretty busy so I suggest making a reservation when you go. At peak times, if you walk-in and they don't have a table, you might have to wait 30+ minutes. I hope they will eventually be able to take phone numbers and send a text when a table is available instead of asking customers to wait in person.

Happy to see this place open up in the neighborhood. Great sushi with friendly staff and a beautiful clean atmosphere. I had an Alaska roll, Smoked Salmon, Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon Sashimi and a Calamari Crush. All tasted amazing and probably the best when compared to other restaurants. The quality and presentation is 5-star. Prices are reasonable and hopefully stay the same. The staff was very friendly and caring. A couple things that could be better: Maybe put something on the TV other than the restaurant advertisement like the world cup and have some free parking options. Other than that, highly recommended and welcome to Richmond.

Happy to come across this Japanese restaurant where the sushi are a nice portion and the special rolls taste delicious. Excellent customer service from all the wait staff; they are friendly and polite. Will definitely come back to this restaurant with family and colleagues. The only recommendation for the restaurant is to ensure that your washroom facilities have adequate toilet paper and paper towels for your customers.

THE BEST SUSHI RESTAURANT in BC! Visited here from downtown since my friend highly recommended this place. Even on Wednesday, it was pretty packed. But their service was still fast and friendly. Needless to say, foods were absolutely great. Especially <<On Cloud9>>, <<spider roll>>, <<okonomiyaki>> + Tap beer. Ambiance, Foods, Garnish, Service and price etc everything here deserves 5 stars in overall.

Had an amazing experience at Sushi Mura! We ordered deep fried oysters, nigiri, and two different special rolls Crazy Rabbit Roll, and Volcano Roll. Food was so yummy and fresh, and was alot bigger than expected. Service was outstanding and friendly; I never had an empty cup of tea. There's still so many other dishes I would like to try. Can't wait til I'm back in Richmond to try it again! Would definitely recommend!

Went to this newish Korean operated Japanese restaurant on the weekend. Clean, bright restaurant with an extensive menu. Food quality was good and portions were generous at a reasonable price. Reservation highly recommended. There were people waiting for tables throughout the whole time we were eating.

Was totally excited to try out this new Sushi Mura branch in Richmond, and it was worth the wait! The food is very tasty and creative, and their sashimi tastes very fresh. My boyfriend and I had the “Lovers set”, which featured an assortment of different sushi to enjoy. Their menu also features many other kinds of Japanese food to eat. The actual restaurant looks top notch and the staff are super kind. The customers at the table next to us forgot a phone and the server immediately broke out into a 50 yard sprint to find them : She was very nice! Hope she is doing well.

Typical Korean operated Japanese restaurants. They brought the similar traditions of Korean spiced sushi chains ie. California, sushi Garden sushi town..etc. We ordered the basic sushi sets to try. Price is fair and quality is good. Located at a very convenient area. Will certainly upgrade our order menu items to try their upper class items.

I have commented on the Vancouver one so I'll make it short: The menu is exactly as the same as Vancouver's, so is the taste. I definately recommend the spicy Salmon sashimi, it's the best there is. Tldr: A slight above average sushi joint with a Korean twist. Clean and hip environment coupled with acceptable sushi quality makes this a recommend. Gave an extra star for excellent flu prevention. The restaurant filled up rapidly after opening, but we got oferred tea refills constantly. Didn't have to wait long for a seat either. Food: 3/5 The food was average compared to other sushi places in the area. You can see in some of my photos that the sushi is arranged nicely, but aren't cut very well and fall apart quite easily. As this is a Korean sushi fusion joint, you can expect spicy mayo one several house special rolls. The karaage was a disappointment though, it was very lacking in flavour. COVID: 4/5 They offer hand sanitizer at every table. Each table is spaced out nicely with plenty of booths. Servers for the most part were still masked.
