Myomi Sushi

Finally made it here as it’s been highly recommended since it opened a few months back. The sushi was very fresh and reasonably priced. Shared the taster sushi set and a tofu dish, which was really good, and I don’t even normally like tofu. The service was also outstanding!

First time dining here tonight…great specialty sushi - very tasty and sashimi were very fresh, except the uni, otherwise no complain really. Service was good and I will definitely be back again. I see a lot of people ordering the set dinner…not sure how good it is, but seem very popular. They are busy, so I highly recommend going for early dinner.

Finding a good quality and authentic Japanese restaurant in Richmond hasn't been easy. We recently tried out Myomi Sushi and were surprisingly impressed!!! Clean and modern interior and their quality of Sashimi & sushi rolls were fresh and well presented~^^ We now order order both take and dine-in regularly here. It's not small, but it's not too big place, and there are so many customers that the restaurant fills up quickly. One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants in Richmond!

I've lived in Richmond for 8 years and Myomi Sushi has stolen my heart for sushi . I really appreciate that they allow reservations. A lot of smaller restaurants that are busy in Richmond never allow reservations and it doesn't personally work for me as I don't want to drive to a location and wait 1-2 hours to be seated. Their boxes really hit the spot for me! If you love ordering a bit of everything when going to a sushi restaurant but cant finish it all, their sushi boxes are the way to go! I love that they don't give you lower quality items I their bundled box combinations. They price it right and you get quality pieces I have to say the price is fair for the service, portion and quality. I have 0 complaints paying as you truly get what you pay for. I highly recommend ordering A Bite of Everything boc and trying their Salmon Oshi!!

Recommended by sister's friend. Food is great, service not bad. Reasonably priced too. The "bite of everything" is really good and value for money. The chicken karage that came with it was surprisingly good - batter was not too thick and neither was it too oily. The sushi was really fresh. Very generous slices of fish. Chicken Udon was tasty.

They're located in a small corner plaza with minimal parking, but you can park on the street if their lot is full. Food is good but it didn't knock my socks off either. Takoyaki didn't have much tako inside. The rolls were aesthetic but flavour was just ok. The sashimi slices are on the small side. Nigiris were good. Still worth a try!

The food was good but…Sigh…slightly underwhelming. Slightly over priced for what you get. And yes the chicken was good according to the kids. We really wanted to try the chef sashimi but they didn’t have enough fish. We wanted the soft shell prawns but they sold out. We made reservations a day ahead. Have no idea why the reviews are so high. Sigh…

First time here. Food was tasty and the service was great. A bit pricier then most places ie. Tuna maki $5, Negitoro maki $4.50, but the quality and taste are much better. We went for lunch, just before noon, and it was not busy. I will definitely be coming back to try out more stuff. My maki plate was missing some tuna pieces, as I forgot to take a picture before digging in. Lol

Took my kids to this restaurant for dinner on Feb 15. Our first time here. Arrived at 6 pm and we were the first. All tables were taken around 6:45 pm! Clean and simple design interior. We ordered Salmon Poke and two Tonkatsu Ramen. Poke ingredients were very fresh! As for ramen, the soup was good and chashew pork is among the best, in my opinions. But the ramen noodles were a bit too soft and lacked the texture. Service was a little slow because only one experienced server onsite and she was training a new server who appeared to be the first day on the job. So, the experienced server not only had to look after customers but also training the new server. A bit overwhelmed for her and thus slowed down the service. I looked at the food other customers ordered and all look very yummy, so I definitely will come back to try different things.

Sashimi and veggie tempura we ordered were ok. 3.5* out of 5. Decoration of the two dishes I ordered were not very Japanese which were not artistic enough. Not a 4.6* sushi restaurant. Service was fine. Price wise is not that bad.
