A Must-Try for Sukiyaki & Wagyu Lovers! If you're fan of Sukiyaki and Wagyu beef this place is a gem~ The price for the quality and variety of food is more than reasonable. staff is friendly and atmosphere is welcoming. Don't miss out this incredible dining experience.

Great spot for families/friends to get together and share top quality food. We had the unlimited option. The beef and pork were perfectly sliced and had a good amount of fat in each slice which made it melt in your mouth. There are four choices of sauces and they went really well with the meat. Dipping the meat into the beaten egg just cools it down and goes down smoothly. Their shrimp tempura with the mayo is also a must. The dessert with the mochi and Kirkland ice cream bar was also unlimited! Attentive and friendly service overall especially for new customers who have never experienced sukiyaki before. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Got the chance to try out this ayce sukiyaki place in Richmond, BC and it’s definitely filling. The cuts of meat were good but the choices for sides and desserts could use an upgrade. The free ice cream is greatFood: 4/5

It’s always my favourite hotpot in Vancouver. I love the soup and meat. There are varieties of appetizers and veggies. I recommend to go for the Black set. It’s good enough. Don’t forget to order Mochi ice cream, it’s so good as well.Food: 5/5

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this all-you-can-eat restaurant. The customer service was impeccable - the workers were attentive, efficient, and friendly. The food was great, with the ebi mayo and Mochi ice cream being particular standouts. The value was impressive for the amount of food we were able to enjoy in a spacious and clean environment. Plus, they were able to accommodate our last minute reservation request for Mother's Day. We'll definitely be back!

Atmosphere was nice, warming and super busy the time we came. Typical Asian place. I believe most of the servers were Chinese as we couldn’t find any Japanese speaking server during our visit. Service was fast enough. Lots of mistakes and confusion as they don’t remember what sets did we order, then we had to remind them and explain it. We went in a group of 5. My friend is a Muslim, she barely couldn’t eat anything in the menu since they all have meat so we told them not to let her pay. They firstly said that all of us have to pay the same amount but then they were nice enough to agree with it. Everything went pretty smoothly until we paid. The servers were pretty rude when most of us decided not to give them tips. They told us that there were some people waiting in the line but they gave the table to us, but we only called 4 sets instead of 5, so we should give them tips for being kind enough with us. Then they kept arguing with us about the tips. They read out loud the amount of tips I gave on the bill and asked why there’s only that much. At the end, when he couldn’t ask for it, he said “ok bye” and left right away. TIPS IS OPTIONAL! You can’t read the bill out loud and complain about how much customers tips you. If it’s compulsory, then don’t put the tipping options for us to choose on the machine. I’ve read some negative comments but I didn’t believe it at all. Now I know. As I’ve said above, I’m not sure if there was any Japanese cook or server so the soup base was not 100% authentic, my Japanese friend said it tasted different but it tasted so so. Tempura was tasty, the sauce on top was pretty salty but it balanced the taste well. Meat was really thin like paper. Good to try place but don’t expect much in the service. They would get mad at you if they are not happy with your tips. The price seems decent but after all the soup base charge, it’s expensive compared to other AYCE places. First time and last time dining here. Not recommended at all.

All you can eat sukiyaki spot in Richmond. Food was of good quality and the price is reasonable given the foregoing. Only nitpick is that they seem to be understaffed and it takes a while to get a server’s attention. It is hard to find a good sukiyaki spot so I recommend Kumo and will be back!

Expectations Met Decent price for AYCE on quality, freshness and variety of appies, meat, vegs, hot pot mixed and satisfying touch of dessert - not Haagen-Dazs but still yummy! The hot pot mix was beyond expectations, it's the pricey hotpot items such as fortune bag, fishball with cheese and seared Tofu - yep they seared every single slice of Tofu! They're also quick in bringing you 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th round of food...unlike others which either cut your orders in half or takes longer and longer. Let's talk about meat: silver is definitely enough with 2 beef, 1 pork....quality you would buy for hotpot at home. Tip: 1st round order all the varities to try, even all the yummy appies! - Remember to get one set of sauce for everyone. - Dipping hot food in raw egg makes it easier to consume. Sandy, our server was excellent! For a big party of 16, she checked in on the group quite frequently. Very attentive and always asked if we needed anything else. She also checked in on the food we ordered without us asking. Unfortunately, The restaurant was quite cold and we were seated towards the open door. Our reservation was at 7 and the rest of my party was standing around for 15 mins waiting for the rest of our table. Thank you Sandy for making the night! :
