Very good sushi. Pricey, but you get what you pay for. Service was very good; polite, providing good recommendations. As a bonus, parking is free and convenient. I would recommend it.Food: 5/5
I just can’t imagine the food they serve given the price they made. The sashimi platter is $65, unbelievable isn’t it? The salmon sushi has more rice portion than an all you can eat restaurant has, it’s just a pain to eat. The raw beef sushi is seasoned well but it’s cold when it’s served. The last excuse I can think for them is that they tend to provide great dining experience given the price, but the server send the wrong dish to our table twice plus when you complain about the disappointment of the sashimi platter, they just ignore you without any comment. Unfortunately I had my worst ever Japanese dining experience for the past 8 years here in Vancouver in this restaurant. Pathetic.
Good place to go and have a few drinks with friends ! Food was delicious! It was pretty pricey though between the 4 of us the bill came up too $700! We a had 1.8L sake though that was pretty much half our bill! But overall it was a good experience! Enjoy everyone!Food: 4/5
This is my first time visiting after they move to the new location. Their interior is clean with a Japanese aesthetic, which is good to me Food is still excellent with a reasonable price. Would recommend you to go somewhere else if you have a budget.Recommended dishesTempura
Speechless disappointed, on photos they look good, service was okay, but the food tastes SO BAD. For over $200, this is not the authentic Japanese food or good sushi/sashimi. I think the owner needs to talk to the kitchen whoever made them.
To me this is a gem holding its own amongst the influx of high turnover bubble tea cafes and hot pot rivalries. MUCH luv to Kitcho and our server for their ‘open til midnight!’ hours and their hustle in handling rowdy late nite hangry-ness with a ton of Izakaya menu items. Our group loved everything we ordered and found the prices reasonable, altho I did wish they had less expensive sake. Free parking and a lot of spaces in their lot, entrance around the corner from Boiling Point.
Outstanding. The service was thoughtful, friendly and courteous, The atmosphere was very nice. The food was very good. Not the typical sushi place, but that’s ok with us. We loved every dish. I actually found their prices on the lower end, but maybe because it’s worth the dine-in experience. We spent half as much as we normally spend on Take-out, and we are stuffed. This place looked nice, and I’m glad we went for the whole experience. Will definitely come again, and highly recommend to people who enjoy quality and great service. would be a great place to take a date.
For an Izakaya this place is on a high end price. Anyway I want to try new places in Richmond. Kinda disappointed about thier drinks list, they don’t have house sake in a small sake container, they have it in bottle which is like $20+, no wine neither, I ordered a bottle of beer instead. For a starter I ordered yakitori, and rainforests roll for my main. It is prawn tempura, avocado, topped with kiwi. It was good, I like the combination, sauce was really good, it was some kind of vinaigrette and with mayo. Service was ok, not great not bad. Will I come back again? Maybe if they have some wine on the menu! Or at least a house sake. But the roll was really good! So maybe.... maybe.
Only my first time there. Got there 45mins before kitchen's closed. Menu was easy to view, pretty much got a photo of each dish. Everything was above average. SOME dishes r on the expensive side, but after u've tasted it, u will find that it's worth it. Atmosphere was very quiet, like I said, I got there pretty late. Overall it was great!
One of the more luxurious Izakaya's in Richmond and for a reason. As this review will be short and sweet, it is one of our go to places for sushi. I went with a couple colleagues and ended up staying all night. Can't name all the things we had as there was too much to remember but here are a couple photos of what makes this place a must try. Sake does that to you...
