Very nice hidden spot that serves authentic Chinese dishes. The staff were very kind and friendly and served me fresh hot tea as i sat on the table. I ordered Combo B $14.96 that comes with beef and broccoli, chow mien and sweet and sour pork. The food itself was very tasty and affordable, but a bit oily, especially chow mien. The chef personally showed up to appreciate my feedback and showed his eager to having me again. By the end of my lunch, I was offered fortune cookie that came with the bill. This restaurant is definitely one of the hidden gems in Victoria and needs to gain more recognition. I highly recommended this restaurant for an affordable good tasting Chinese cuisine experience.
Every dish we ordered was delicious, every dish was beyond my imagination, delicious! The staff service attitude is very good, the environment is also very clean and tidy. It's well worth coming back for more often.
Nice Chinese food restaurant to try. We enjoyed the food. Clean and well presented. Prices are a little on the 16-25 per dish range but the potion size is decent.

Location 8/10 Overall, this restaurant is worthy to try it! If you have a vehicle, I recommend you to come a bit early so you can get a spot.
Been going to Sun Wah for over 10 years. It's always good! I have tried other places in town but none have the consistency and give me the satisfaction of Sun Wah. It was the best when I was in college and it's the best now that I an feeding a family. Spring rolls and if you are eating in, Hong Kong Style Chow Mein. Crisp veggies too!

I tried this place out for the first time today, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant the friendly staff and expedient service. Food was fresh and of good quality as well as very tasty. Prices were a little high but portions were big and quality quite good. The owners are from Beijing but the chefs are Cantonese and they really know Cantonese cuisine!
Awesome food and awesome service. Unfortunately they didn't have any peking duck due to a city wide shortage...but the cantonese style chow mein, salt n pepper squid and beef lettuce wraps hit the spot. Really looking forward to coming back and trying the peking duck along with some other traditional favourites.
Wish the food was as good as the atmosphere and service. The soy sauce chicken was overcooked and the sweet and sour pork chops with white onions could have more taste.Food: 2/5
Our family hosted a 30 person dinner for our grandmother and the service and food exceptional. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and well organized. The staff even allowed us to use an extra table to set up the cakes for a family photo priceless and for serving. The night went off without a hitch and we will certainly be back. Our whole family, both local and visiting, will be back. Favourite dishes were salt and pepper squid Chinese style calamari and the honey salt and pepper prawns.
