What a wonderful surprise . Fantastic tasty fresh food, of good proportions, cooked by a 30 year experienced Beijing chef. Service was fabulous, with a very humble, kind, gracious, friendly and gentle server. Didn’t have to wait at all for food to be prepared hot and fresh, even though they were busy with a constant stream of online delivery orders, and dine-in patrons. Humble environment, which only makes the experience more of an amazing meal. $$$

I came from China and I have to say the Chinese food at this restaurant is very authentic, delicious, and super fast. Owner is very nice and welcoming. Super surprised to find this gem at downtown Victoria. Just had a wonderful meal. Would definitely come back for more. Highly recommended!

Great place! The food was super fresh and tasty, especially the steamed rock fish. The chef and the staff were really warm and friendly. Will definitely go there again!

Beijing bistro gave an authentic cuisine with amazing service and I could not find anything misleading about the place. Overall, amazing restaurant, definitely go visit!

My favorite Chinese restaurant on the island! If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go to! Staff are nice, the owner/chef even made me my favorite dish even though it’s not on the menu! Highly recommend their spicy fish dish Dan Dan noodle . Dumplings. I just love this place! Their portion is quite big so sharing would give you an opportunity to try a bit of everything.

This is THE place to get AUTHENTIC Beijing cuisine. If you are not familiar with Beijing cuisine, try the Soft Fried Pork Tenderloin. It has a chicken-nugget-like feel, should be a great gateway dish. As a native Beijing'er, I'm thrilled to have found this place during my visit. Having lived in California for 16 years, I've searched high-and-low for traditional Beijing food; but none in California comes close to Beijing Bistro. It takes courage and integrity to keep the flavors authentic, because appreciating regional cuisine is an acquired taste, and being authentic means taking a hit on reviews and revenues. So, Victoria, Beijing Bistro deserves your support. Pls don't treat it as just another Chinese restaurant.

Overpriced. Food is great! They gave me jasmine tea without telling me if it was going to be complimentary or charged. Service is really good but slow only 2 servers Chef is really good

Authentic amazing Chinese food, I recommend the twice cooked pork belly! The owners are very nice people.

Delicious meal for Chinese New Year! The service was good and the duck and fish specials were both amazing.
