Cute little place, definitely didn't expect breakfast to be as good as what it was. Prices are right, decent portion size, and good service. While maybe not my go to restaurant, I wouldn't complain about having to eat here!
Good brunch place. Affordable pricing. Taste was good. Boba tea was average, milk was too watery, not thick! Street paid parking available.
Frank’s Honeybun Cofe is a local favourite. They serve delicious breakfast food and American Chinese food that can’t be beat. Check their window for a daily special!Recommended dishes
I swear the reviews are rating something totally different. It's a snowy day outside. Buses are down, ferries are shut off, restaurants are closed all over town. Frank's HoneyBun is still open and I figure I could do with generous portions of Chinese for lunch. To say the food was flavorless would be an understatement. The fried rice and chow mein had NO flavor at all. Neither did the Sweet and Sour pork. I had to pour Kikkoman soy sauce just to get a hint of flavor, but then... it's not really fried rice anymore when the rice has a wet feeling to it. My partner got the breakfast special and loved it, so maybe they do diner style better than any of the Chinese on the menu. Great portions and prices, though. And the owner was sweet. Happy holidays!
The prices are great and the food is good diner fare. Nothing fancy, not great but a fair meal for a fair price. We were pleased with our meal.
Great little "mom and pop" Cafe that serves great food, all-day breakfast and a great selection of drinks. Also perfect for grab-and-go meals. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
I love this place. Owners/operators are friendly and welcoming and offer a wide range of favorite Western & Chinese food items. Fast and affordable, with hot items ready for an easy lunch take away. The wonton soup is wonderful and they have a solid 5.99$ all day breakfast deal.
Sooo deliciouse! Nice service!Food: 5/5
No good! Save your money. We we looking for a good boba tea and a little lunch. My daughter ordered a red bean boba. In watching the owner make it, we noticed he hardly put any flavor powder in the cup. Sure enough, it came out almost clear, super watery, and flavorless. I told my daughter to go ahead and ask him to possibly remake it with the right amount of powder or change flavors. She didn't want to bother him, but I told her I'm sure it would be fine and he'd want to make it right for his customers. She went to the counter to ask him, and he was really put off. He quickly and sharply said, "No! That's what you ordered!" and walked away. We left, but my husband walked the drink back in, and and left it on the counter with him. The owner ignored him. We didn't want to be rude or make a scene or anything, but it was clear that customer service or even just kindness isn't a priority in this place. We then walked down a couple blocks to Boba Dog and got much better ones. They make it with actually tea that they steep for a long time.
Good place to eat : I ordered an Egg noodle soup with chicken, it was delicious. If you want to have some breakfast like Chinese, I recommend this place. Even if you don't want Chinese dish for breakfast, there other American dishes such as omelet or toasts.
