Regular customer for years. Try to return, exchange or leave a defective heater. The manager did not take the heater back. I lost the receipt and it was warm when I bought the heater, so I did not get a chance to try it. The plug ended up super hot the first time we used it. It could cause a fire, since the device did not limit the amount of current it was drawing. Surprised they would want defective heater out in the public. Could cause a house fire.

Great selection of tools but staff are hit or miss. Do your research on what you need before you show up because you may not get all the answers you need

The best selection and the best price always. The fact that the store price matches is great. Keep a eye out for house brand deals. The deals are great on batteries for cordless tools. I am always impressed with the great selection of quality brands!

Good prices, full stock and helpful staff. With membership all tools are registered and directed return or trade within 30 days 60 days for dewalt! It's where the pros shop

This is a very organized and clean store. There can be some great prices when there are sales. Staff are incredibly friendly as well.

Probably my favourite tool shop to go to. It’s well lit and has a very casual un-rushed feel to it with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great if you just want to browse some tools on the wish list, not so great if you’re hoping to get out without spending a bunch, ha. So far I’ve found their sale prices to be the best. The only downer is that they don’t carry any Freud stuff but hopefully that changes one day.

Edit: I used to work here so I was bias, now a days they have some good pricing yes, but they can't keep staff cause the management is constantly rotated and head office dosnt care about the employees. I left for a new job within a year of working because it was just toxic and unfair. Not that you care, if you logged in on the computer 1 second late from lunch or starting you'd be docked 15 minutes of pay. Yet oftin expected to work overtime and would not pay it out without a fight... if you want bare tools they likely have the best pricing, but the quality of service will be lack luster. The only person who I worked with is at the Burnaby office now behind a desk hi lucas none of the people I worked with in 2018 are there.. none. This place kills your soul. Original post: This store has the MOST HELPFUL STAFF . the sales guys have tons of knowledge on everything in the store. Explain your job and needs and they know what you need and have things to offer. Their pricing in fantastic . Way better than KMS. Overall I totally recommend this company! Need tools and more or advice ask summit tools. It's a small family owned company and it shows. Tons of items on sale! Check it out! Added 2018: Latisha is the most amazing cashier! She needs a raise! She always knows my name and is just so nice to deal with. Also the new girl named Dakotah is also a gem and should be given a raise in order to keep her. Where's Tiff ?! Last time I was in I was told Burnaby has her!. . We'll give that star a raise too! Also, the young man who stocks Joseph looks like he needs someone to give a hand most days. Tell your employees not to harass customers when they don't need help. Get over it I was not wearing a mask I told your employee I was exempt and i don't want help. He continued to follow me around your store until I left. He is lucky he did not get a black eye. I will never be shopping here again. I'll go to home depot f your small business.

I love this place. They have good selection, good prices and helpful staff. They carry all the big brands, but also the budget friendly Rok brand which is rarely seen elsewhere. Rok has a huge variety of tools at good prices and very respectable quality, which offers a great alternative for the typical homeowner who needs to get occasional jobs done without blowing the budget. I always look for Rok tools before considering other brands. My only knock against Summit is that I can't check their selection or inventory online. It's sometimes inconvenient, but it enables them to have less overhead and pass savings along to customers so I'm ok with it. It's a throwback to a simpler era. I also wish they were open Sundays, but that's not the norm for local hardware stores so I know it's not going to change. I work around it.

I cannot believe that Max guy is a manager there. Terrible customer service, rude to the staff, i was disgusted! I will definitely be going elsewhere as i would NEVER support a business who allows such a person to work for them. It's really too bad as i was impressed with your employee Derek who was extremely helpful to me. Do better Summit tools!!!!
