First time having to return a tool at KMS I recently bought a Milwaukee 3 plane laser level obviously defective out of the box. Brought it back for an exchange, was told I am SOL because it emits light.. therefore it is working as intended. they seemed more worried about losing money on an exchange/warranty than anything else.. I guess the salesman's blatant honesty is worth something? at least I have a decent 800 dollar paper weight now.
Best KMS around… top notch customer service. Friendly and pleasant staff on the floor and at the tills . They have got it locked down. I’ve bought some very expensive equipment/tools and also cheap and cheerful equipment and tools…. not once have I felt unwelcome or made to feel stupid. Very very helpful staff . You have a lifetime customer.. Cheers!
I bought a $5500 hopefully new welder from kms. Opened the box to find the tips were the wrong size/ model and the lug to hold the spool on wasn't in the box. The welder has been fine, but paying big bucks for something to find out it may be used, I would suggest when buying here you may want to open and check everything before taking it from the store.
Excellent store to buy high quality tools from automotive to woodworking. Many knowledgeable staff to answer your questions. Also a separated building for classic cars; body panels, suspension, etc. and some used parts.
They are always helpful. One time I was looking for springs, the store did not have it, but the tools repair shop looked through their spare parts and found something for me. God sent.
Darcy was super attentive and helpful when buying the tools I need for my job, lots of good advice and answered every question I had, highly recommend his expertise He’s the man!
I had a great experience buying a new tool bag with Keith I believe at kms tools. He went above and beyond in order to help me make a buying decision on getting a new tool bag a month or so ago. He helped me on other things I was asking for as well. I'm super thankful for people like him. I'm glad I chose to stick with the same bag that lasted me over 15 years. Thanks again!
Helpful staff. Sale items are well priced. Large selection of things not just tools.
Great place to browse for tools, customer service is good too. Returns can be a pain. So I wouldn’t buy anything that you may need to return.
I don't know where to start. Just go to home Depot or Lowe's. Told Michelle I had to ship the item that was unboxednot in original packaging might be used. She handed me a box that was way to big and went on to other customers. So any money I saved I had to spend on shipping material.
