First established in 1921, POCO Building Supplies is a family owned Lumber Yard and Home Improvement Centre in the heart of beautiful downtown Port Coquitlam. With a history steeped in honest pricing and service excellence, we’re proud to be the City’s oldest running business and a fixture of a Community that we helped build.

Used to be great but went today to find out about some deck supplies and waited over half an hour for someone after requesting help. Strange as there were a lot of employees standing around. Very unhelpful when we did eventually get help-the employee just told us to go look out at the yard, not providing many details. We ended up trying to look through mostly unlabeled supplies (little was priced) and were met with a disgruntled attitude when requesting price. We gave up.and went to rona.

Best place for your building supplies. These people actually know what they're talking about when you have a general question about product unlike home depot.

Edit: Thank you for the reply. I will email for a price quote. I went to your store on Sunday looking to get prices on some Azek composite boards. The staff member I spoke to said no one buys it because it's expensive and didn't want to help me further. I was told to call Monday. Not a good first experience with your business. So I called Monday, spoke to another staff member, and told him I would like prices on RealTrim Plus boards and Azek composite boards. I already knew the Azek boards were special order. However, I was suprised when I was told the RealTrim Plus was also special order only, especially when it's the only product listed on your website for Fascia & Window Trim...and says now stocking! Anyways, he took down my information and said he would call back later that day. Two and a half days later, I have yet to receive a call back. It should not be this difficult to get a couple of prices. I'm not asking for a detailed quote, just prices per piece on three sizes of trim boards. If you don't want to sell these products, then simply don't list them and you will not be bothered by people such as myself asking for prices.

They got the delivery truck with the 70 foot crane. Delivery guys are on point. Good prices and selection.

Good alternative to the big box places. Great selection of things you might need find in those more generic shops. You could build a house by shopping just here.
