Stittsville Home Hardware Building Centre

I visit this hardware store regularly and find the staff to be pleasant and knowledgeable. Anyone you meet here you can ask the questions about what paint to use, what's the best light bulb, what's the best furnace filter or what you need to fix your leaking toilet. They all are trained on all the products they sell. I haven't found this in the larger stores and appreciate this at this store.

I popped into this location one day, with a problem that I needed to solve. Steve - at customer service - listened, understood, and right away helped me find a solution. Very satisfied. Excellent customer service, and I will be making the strip to this location more frequently as a result! Thanks to you and the team for your help!

I've always tried to give my business to local ownership, but after been here 3x the past few months I will not be coming back. I've been frustrated each time because of sale items not in stock, plastic tubing not available cut to size and I needed 2 keys to be cut, but not available. Sadly, had to drive down the street to a bigger box store to get items filled. Nice staff, but limited stocked items.

Used to shop here quite often, when I lived in the area. This place is now called Home Hardware and not Rona. Its been under a different name for a while now, but the service has never changed. They are still as friendly as ever. Im always able to find what I need.

Purchased 18 litre Culligan water for a charity event. They have a $10.00 deposit on the bottle. When I tried to return the bottle to get the deposit back I was told that they don’t refund the deposit. This was in the afternoon on Thursday October 2nd 2025. We will no longer purchase water here.
