I stayed here for 2 nights in September, and loved it. We were the only people tent camping and our site had a great view of Beech Mountain. There is an Island Explorer bus stop located in the campground, making it easy to travel anywhere in the park without a car. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and I appreciate that.

A great campground, especially for the price. Has a good mix of wooded privacy and more common areas to build community. Great facilities, very clean, well-stocked camp store, and a great location in relation to Acadia activities.

Nice campground and good location! We have sites with cement nice and easy but the wooded sites were beautiful as well!

Kid friendly, reasonably priced, small campground close to most of what Bar Harbor and Acadia have to offer. The bathrooms are kept clean and the heated inground pool is a nice bonus. My kids love the playground too. The biggest negative, which was expected, are the inflated camp store prices. 5 dollars for a small bundle of unseasoned wood is a rip-off, so bring your own or stop at one of the many stands (still expensive) every other house or so on mount desert island. They offer RV, tent, cabin, and group sites with or without water and electricity. My wife said it's her favorite campground we've been to.
