Story

Our Campground is located on the shores of beautiful Branch Lake, Half way between Ellsworth and Bangor on route 1-A. Follow our signs off 1-A to the shores of Branch Lake where you will begin a vacation that will long be remebered.

We are well away from main highways and other commercial sources of noise and are well lighted at night with ourown street lights for your convenience.

Branch Lake campground is a short distance to Bangor ( 17 miles ) and offers a variety of shopping centers to national outlet stores. Also the coastal town of ellsworth offers a history visit and has many malls and outlet stores to include the nation wide L.L. Bean factory outlet on high street. A first class hospital, and many churches for your enjoyment. Ellsworth has many restaurants from fine to fast, a YMCA, bowling facility and is only 10 miles away.

Acadia National Park is just a short drive outside of Ellsworth and offers it's own history that includes, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, and Southwest Harbor, where where the rich and famous come to relax! Plus ocean sight seeing and deep sea fishing cruises, lobster and clam bakes and the night life.
