AMAZING! The staff was so attentive and friendly from the minute I walked in the door. I goofed on my reservation and they helped me out no problem which was easy breezy - quick to check in too. The campground is lovely - the views are incredible, we were down by the water and I would gladly rent site 370 again. We met really nice people and the bathrooms and showers were so clean. Many thanks, we will be back :)

We stayed at Bar Harbor KOA for a week during a vacation to explore Acadia National Park and couldn't have been happier! The setting on the water was beautiful and the kids loved waking up in the morning looking for seals and climbing on the rocks during low tide. It was a short drive to downtown Bar Harbor (which is an awesome town) and all of the great spots in the park including Loop Road. Friendly staff, clean amenities, small playground for the kids to enjoy and some great activities (although we were exploring the park most of the time and didn't get to enjoy them they sounded fun). We would definitely recommend this campground to anyone coming to this area and we will definitely be coming back again!

Great campground with well kept facilities and sites. I have only spent evening at their tent sites, but they are all fantastic for a couple of night's stay. The bathrooms are uncannily clean for a campground, and that is a nice touch. Firewood is a bit expensive at the site, when it is cheaper less than a mile down the road, but no points off for that. The ocean views are well worth it, and access to the nearby beach is good for beautiful sunsets.

Gorgeous views, convenient location, wonderful staff, clean bathrooms, excellent electric at 30 amps, dog run, onsite lobster dinners.... Internet was horrible, water pressure low due to drought and they disclosed this in advance. How ever the showers were clean and had great hot water. The location is great for all parts of Acadia National Park! This is the best KOA we have camped at. The staff was so very helpful that it made up for the couple if shortcomings. Would highly recommend! We camped in a fifth wheel.

Was expecting more from a KOA for the price. Showers are seperate from the bathrooms and very very small. They only have handicap facilities on the furthest side of campground next to cabins. Road by the laundry need much improvement since it was underwater for like 4 sites worth. Laundry room was used by staff to do their towels and sheets from their rentals. Should have their own washers and dryers not to inconvience the customers trying to do their laundry. They did have good activities for the kids. In the evening from 5 - 8 there is a vendor who cooks a heck of a good lobster dinner for $23. Eat under the big tent on very nice tables or take it to go back to your campsite. This was a very welcome thing after traveling during the day and not wanting to go out in traffic again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Camp store was very well stocked and they also have delivery of wood or ice to your campsite for you.
