Flanders Bay Cabins & Mountain View Campground

Charming little cabins that provide the essentials for a comfortable, low-key stay with gorgeous views of Flanders Bay. Quiet and peaceful, owned by friendly folks who also run a tasty BBQ spot on the property. Kelly and Toby are incredibly kind, communicative, and accommodating. Highly recommend for a solo trip, couple trip, or a family trip, and the larger Shorefront House is perfect for a group stay with friends. We will definitely be back! Pet friendly with a reasonable fee.

I visited last summer and am back this summer for another trip. The property is extremely peaceful. You can start your day with a cup of coffee overlooking Flanders Bay with Cadillac Mountain in the distance. There are grills to make dinner and bonfire pits for s’mores! Such a fantastic place to unplug. The family that owns and runs the cabins is also super friendly and helpful with giving recommendations on sight seeing and hiking. Will be returning again next year!

Very clean, very friendly, and the best place we could ever spend our vacation! We rented the Chalet and it was adorable and perfect!! We had plenty of room for 7 of us to sleep comfortably! A few of our relatives stayed in cabins and loved it as well! We used the chalet as our “main meeting place.” The views are outstanding from the property! The BBQ was EXCELLENT!! I could go on and on of how awesome our experience was! We will definitely be back!

The view from the cabins at Flanders Bay can’t be bought! Incredible experience with this vacation spot, great privacy, and the cabins had the perfect touch of rustic charm with all the amenities you could ever want! Cabins and the grounds were so clean and well kept! Highly recommend! Will definitely be going back!

Just a beautiful piece of property. Quiet and you can see the milky way. As much or little interaction with other guests as you want. My dog and I had a great stay. Highly recommend! One note, these are cabins, so if you're looking for something fancy, this is not the right choice. I will be back :

Comfortable, friendly place, everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings, fire pit, quiet and peaceful. It even had WiFi!

Never go back! We had 1 day to ride the Sunrise Trail, unfortunately a tropical storm also decided to visit that day. We tried to reschedule for a different day and were told they were totally booked the rest of the month. Obviously this was a lie as both nights we were there only 2 of the units were occupied. These are new owners and unless they change their attitude they will not be in the tourist business for long.

I love this place! The food is awesome and the service is fast and friendly. You also get to see the beautiful view of Cadillac mountain in Bar Harbor. Really all is a must see.

Stayed here at a two bedroom cabin in 2016.Very nice spot and very rustic. Right on the water. Cabin was clean, but a little on the older side. included a lot of household items.
