Best thing you can do is just keep driving to another spot , there are several other ones in area. The guy / owner is a jerk definitely on a power trip about his rules. When I came in didn't notice any speed signs and i wasnt told about any speed ,set camper up went back out to get supply , when coming back in . He was waving me down said I was going too fast at 15 mp , told him no problem didn't see the the signs , drove back up to the office driving very slowly ,went into the office to get something and he told me somebody that was in the office saw a little dust coming up from my wheels which it hadn't rain in month and very dusty and that was my second warning, third one i would be out , No Refund this is all in one day ,what a jerk.

Quiet, clean and just what I wanted. I stayed in their cabin. It was comfortable and easily accessible. The rest rooms were always immaculate and the hosts always friendly. Very convenient to all that this part of Maine has to offer. I would definitely return.

This place has to be the most boring joint I have ever camped at. The sites are tiny, everyone is on top of each other. I felt like I was doing something wrong for having a camp fire. I saw one other camper have a fire the whole time I was there. They have an unrealistic 5mph rule for the roads on site. My car travels faster than that while idling. One afternoon my wife drove in going no more than 15. A guy on a golf cart (probably going faster than 5mph) pulled up to her window and chewed her out, threatening to kick us out if we ever drove that fast through there again. A simple "please slow down" would of worked. Instead he had to deliver a tactless rant. Needless to say, I will never go back there again. Neither should you.

Not for pets, thus not for us. Use caution if you have pets, they can't stay in RV unattended. I booked 3 sites for 3 nights and was told via phone pets permitted. When we got there told no pets unattended and no refunds. 2 of us (with pets) had to leave in a heavy tourist place before a weekend and the two in the office had no morals about keeping our money. Just got off the phone with VISA and I'll be starting a campaign against this Campground to prevent them from doing this to others. It's not over now, 2 are in a Campground separated from the 3rd. I booked these sites in March so the 3 of us would be together. Letter writing campaign to begin when I return from vacation. Go elsewhere and avoid this place!

I am responding to Irv and Tim. In reference to speed limit, the Owners have this expectation clearly posted and I was personally informed about the rationale. Our stay was July and early August. I recall listening to barking dogs in an unoccupied Unit with Texas tags ALL day long. The stores including Walmart, Parks, and many outdoor lobster restaurants allow your leashed pet. I observed a truck speeding back into the park later that evening, perhaps due to a cell call from the Owners. I did not make the complaint but smiled when you hooked up the next morning.
