Silver Wok

Silver Wok has quite an extensive menu. Unfortunately, it's quite expensive for the portion sizes. The taste is quite average I'd say. Therefore, Sunflower Chinese at Montreal/Princess is a better choice - the portions are larger and the prices are cheaper. The store itself is larger than Sunflower, it is functional and basic. This was my first visit to Silver Wok. I ordered a variety of dishes and WOW. It was very fresh, tasted magnificent and is hands-down my new favorite chinese food place. Did I mention how fresh this food was. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, what a great first impression.

The Staff at Siver Wok were the greatest helpful and efficient when i came to pick up our very large order they were pumping it out fast and hot. They went above and beyond for service and great tasting food. Thank you to the manager who i talked to to arrange this large amount of food for 85 people. Thank you agin for your time and effort.

Food quality is great overall, fast service. If you wanna eat legit Chinese food, definitely order off the menu, enjoyed the pork belly 100% would recommend

My friends and I wanted to come here and try the food as we've heard good stuff about this place. We were pleased. I got a wonton soup, it was very flavorful, very good. There was about 5-6 wontons in the soup, most places only give you 2-3 wontons in their soups. There was even bokchoy I believe?, and green onions in the soup to flavor it up. My friends got the General Tso Chicken, and chicken balls. The General Tso was quite good, a nice sweet, and crisp to them. Even the chicken balls were flavorful, and nice and crispy. The lady at the counter was very nice, and the wait time for our food wasn't long at all. Very nice place!

Thank you for making my family's and my experience so enjoyable over the years. We have loved the food especially the deep fried chicken wings and butterfly shrimp. We will definitely come and visit when we are in Kingston again.

Randomly came across this Chinese restaurant. Their Chinese food is good. Not too salty / sweet. Do take note they are very generous with the portion. It is huge. Definitely recommend them if you are looking for some Chinese food!

Used to go there for dine in a while back, decided to get the take out since I haven't been there in a while. It was still absolutely delicious and the owner was still just as kind as ever. If you're on the fence about trying this place, just do it.

I knew right away that this would be a good choice for Chinese food. Decor and tables are a bit old. Menu is big and they have great dinner specials. The food was great. Overall great balance of quality, quantity and price. I look forward to sampling more of their menu.

Since the secret got out about the alternate menus which focus on tradition dishes the food, for me, has gotten so much better. Unlike any other local Chinese restaurant. Canadian Chinese just doesn't cut it for me. I also love be the fact that the decor is older and not polished. Great food!
