Food was alright. Lots of fries with our burgers and I enjoyed the lobster and crab dip. The waiters were all really nice. It would have been 5 stars for me but it took forever to get our food order in. Nobody came to greet the table. I had to flag someone down. Overall, food was good and it's a fun place to watch sports with friends.
Booked a reservation on Tuesday night for pre-show dinner and was worried about the reviews on slow service. So glad I didn't cancel my reservation. We were seated at our reservation time on the patio as requested. Great seats with a view of the city. We were served quickly & efficiently by Matthew. Beer was cold and food was good. We had plenty of time to make our show. We enjoyed it so much that we went back after the show for their 1/2 price bottle of wine. Also enjoyed a couple of apps. We were served by Joshua and he was also great. Brought us each a nice cold glass of ice water without asking. Definitely would return here if back in TO.
Lively place located in the heart of the bustling Dundas st area, seems to have a sports bar theme judging from the ice hockey on multiple television screens with some thumping music to boot. Get in early or be prepared to wait outside to be seated. I give credit to the wait-staff who were very friendly. The food portions were good and it all tasted good, however the prices are a little steep. Then of course a tip is expected. Surely they're making enough profit off the food and beverages already?
Definitely a great place to eat! Love the atmosphere. All the servers were friendly and helpful. They accomodated us when we needed a place to park our stroller while our little one slept through dinner. I would really recommend this location. It is fun to watch the Square while eating on the patio.
I went there during the holiday season, they told us we have to add our name on the waiting list and we have to wait for 1-1.5 hour, but after 15 mins they called our names. We had a pretty good experience. One of my friends ordered Mushroom truffle cheeseburger and I tasted it, it was so good and the sauce was really tasty and good. The meal is good too and worth the price I ordered crispy chicken from the chicken sandwich section, and it was really crispy and big enough. The service was nice too, they keep checking on you if you need anything, and the vibes were nice. We sat inside since it was winter, and as I said the vibes were nice I recommend you check them out!
I knew exactly what I was going to get here, so I wasn’t disappointed when I go subpar food and so-so service. Caesar salad smelled great, but was overdressed and mushy. The wings were well done and I enjoyed the hot honey. Service was friendly, but out to lunch. Our table was left with a scatter of dirty dishes and glasses which was ick.
Way back throwback Sunday for me! This used to be my spot many years ago, as a fresh grad in the city. Decided to head back for a quick lunch today. This is a good place. Not great. Good. The patio is good, full of plants which I like. The food is good, I had a fatty, creamy chicken pasta. The drinks are good, I had a nice, boozy Aperol Spritz. It’s a good spot if you’re in the area. They were playing music from 2015 which I thoroughly enjoyed. Altogether not a bad lunch spot for summer.
Wait time is usually longer, but after we were seated the service was very slow and the waitress didn’t bother to check on us. Well, she served the drinks and food, but no plates n cutlery given. We were a group of 10, so the 18% service tax was automatically added to bill, that could be the reason for negligence. Will definitely do not recommend this place.
The food is absolutely terrible. Not a busy place but service is slow. FOOD: • Crab cake: tastes like a chunk of salt, no flavors other than salty. • Burger and fries: fries is also very salty and the burger is just bad. DRINKS: I ordered a bellini and it was the only thing good on the table. INSIDE: quite big area but surprisingly not crowded when we arrived. However they don't have table big enough for a group of 7 so we had to squeeze in. SERVICE: Friendly but slow. The place was almost empty but we had to wait very long for our food.
It was a first time visit to this location. The food had a good size portion, not too big, not too small. The food was salty for my tastes though. Music was loud but you can have a good conversation with whom you are dining with. Ambience not too bad as well. Would love to try other food in their menu.
