Stopped in to meet a friend and have a quick beer. He enjoyed all 3 sangria types and a steak appetizer. I had the house lager which was refreshing. The main server was super friendly, talkative and great at her job. The other server seemed very nice and pleasant. Large patio, several different areas inside for dining or drinks. Big stage for live music too which is always a bonus. Would recommend and return.
Just looking for a place to have a drink and some nibblies. Charcuterie board seemed like a good fit. Took a look at past orders here to “see” if we’d like it. Didn’t want olives but glad we decided to check out the tomatoes as we often don’t care for tomatoes. They were lovely with balsamic reduction on it - apparently theirs is legendary. Was a little disappointed in our presentation versus others I’ve seen. But it was a nice selection and it was just enough for us so we were content.
Have a nice cold beer and I lovely meal. Quick and fast friendly service. Was able to people watch while we eat. Would recommend this place.
We order local beerlove it, IP with yummy Nachos and for lunch, Souvlaki, Parmesan Chicken, Haddock. Great service + Amazing food = unforgettable memories. I definitely recommend this place.
Food was good and bigger than usual portion size!
This place has hands down one of the best pizzas and cocktails in Kingston. Their chefs are amazing and we loved everything we ordered here. I am giving 3 stars because of the old waitress who served us. She was grumpy, non-attentive, and the worst customer service… I would have rated this place 5+ if I didn’t meet that old lady… but still this place has the best Italian stuff!
Definitely a place for the 40+ crowd. Seemed like the regulars got plenty of attention - which is great. Wife and I came in off the street and there was no hostess seating people. We ended up interrupting one of the two waitresses in order to sit. The waitress who ultimately served us was great. Clearly overworked. The food was abysmal. Serving sizes are good. It was perfectly edible overpriced food. Steak board was an rmbarassment to steak. Approx 1/4 inch width - was cooked to well done ordered to be medium rare. Our waitress was replaced for whatever reason and I think we got forgotten about. I ended up going inside to just get the bill and leave. The bartender was having a cozy conversation with some people at the bar. He looked at me but went back to his discussion about everyday nonsense. Another gentleman motioned to the bartender and pointed at me. "Hey, are you working?" "What do you want?" "My receipt." *waitress prints it and gives it to the bartender" "Can I pay here?" "Yes." And that was about it. I heard they have live music. If anyone is familiar with st james gate rip in PEI, it kinda reminds me of that. Which is to say it struck me as a cougar bar lol. Probably good for a certain crowd. Not a welcoming place for 35 and younger? I don't have a time machine so I can't prove that assumption.
An absolutely fabulous experience. Live music on Friday evenings, fantastic service and delicious food. And did I mention the awesome service. There is a private room for large groups that has fantastic air conditioning. The outdoor patio is well lit and has an excellent street view with lots of walking traffic. You can't go wrong with this place. It is a tad pricey. #localguide
We met for dinner with friends from Toronto yet they keep their boat in Kingston, therefore they are familiar with the area. So they recommended this restaurant for dinner. As the weather was so amazing we sat on their patio outside, right off the sidewalk: great people watching. Our server Jake was very attentive and funny. They have a large drink and food menu. Everything we ordered was well made and tasty. The spicy seafood linguini was our favorite. Their Caesar cocktail is a tasty one!
Scallop with lime sauce was great, seafood pasta was okay I mean the sauce but seafoods inside the pasta were so fresh and well cooked. Staffs are very friendly and polite. They have live music as well.
