New Garden Restaurant

New Garden is a typical Canadian-Chinese restaurant. It is not authentic Chinese. It is operating takeout-only at the moment. The food tastes quite bland and the portion sizes are small for the prices. I would recommend going to Sunflower at Princess/Montreal instead, as they have better tasting food and double the portions for the price. The restaurant itself is a standalone building and looks a bit sketchy. The inside is very old-looking. Parking: Free gravel lot to the right of the restaurant

I have eaten here for years and the food always hits the spot. The portions are generous and the menu has a lot of options. Great value for my money. Parking: Large parking lot

Chinese was our go to take out. After covid restrictions relaxed we resumed our usual pattern. Sadly, every single place had not just jacked up cost but greatly compromised on quality. Tried all our favs several times and the cost definitely didn't support the newly inferior food. We stopped eating Chinese food! Then on a recommendation we went to New Garden. The BEST EVER! Fresh and top notch quality! Yahooo! Finally, we resume eating our favorite Sunday take-out!

Food was delicious and plentiful. Definitely had more than our money's worth Good on you! which gave us leftovers for the next day. Things sloshed around in the bag a bit so everything needed a good wipe down before we could eat, but all in all very good. Lemon chicken was delicious, the sweet and sour chicken balls were great but mostly breading, the beef and snap peas was probably our least favorite, but the General Tao s will be ordered double next time.

When this place is closed it is disappointing because no other Chinese restaurants compare to this one! The owner is wonderful and we are very impressed with the service! Good everytime we order no complaints

We went for our first visit after being told how amazing it is! They did not disappoint. The food was delicious, fresh and hot.The prices are so good and The service was friendly and so customer based. Asking me my likes and dislikes and giving suggestions was something I appreciated very much. Definitely will be back, and I suggest them to everyone!!

Have had food here before and it was very good that being said just stopped in to get a menu to order and pick up and encountered the absolute most IGNORANT individual running the counter. Instead of being thankful that he was busy and explaining we would need to place an order soon to be guaranteed he threw the pick up schedule at me and snarked you better order if you're going to. There will be no future purchases from this restaurant!!!

The guy taking the order and on pick up was rudesame guy. All I asked when picking up my order was about the total. I asked if that was including the 10%off for cash orders? This is what is posted online for this restaurant. I googled a chinese food place because I'm not from this area. He was "like what's the difference. There's no difference in price. It doesn't say that! " Then he slams the menu on the counter. I'm like wow!!! You don't have to be rude about it. I even tried to explain your menu is online. That I googled this restaurant. He didn't want to hear about it. Very very rude. I was close to just walking out. I will Never go here again when I'm back in town. I suggest you find another place with better customer service. If it is a new change to the menu, you should probably take it off your Google menu. Or even just listening to your customers and letting us know there was a change or something..not be met with this unnecessary rudeness. Food was meh anyway. Save your money.

Amazing food!! After Lechee Garden closed I tried to find a place as good as them. And I actually found a better one! Food was so fresh and huge portions! Owner was very nice as well. The inside also looked very clean and tidy. Highly recommended!
