Lots of variety when it comes to unique imported food. Meat section closes at 5 pm. Produce also looked freshish. I would go back to check out some more products as you can't find these in normal grocery stores. Parking is a bit of a challenge

Shaganappi is our favorite middle eastern place in calgary for everything! We can't say enough good things about it. We are so impressed by the products quality, cleanliness and the amazing staff! Heba, Howaida, Malake, Mahmoud, Mohamad and everyone else are all amazing, we feel at home when we go there. The butcher shop is excellent always meat is fresh and it's a very clean place. The bakery menu is all delicious , we have not tried anything we did not like and the staff are just amazing , very friendly and welcoming. For 13 years in Calgary we couldnt find a trustable place to get all the middle eastern products, baked foods and meats untill we found Shaganappi. The picture attached is everything we got from there, including the raw beef we use to make raw kibbe which we will not dare have anywhere else. Thank you for making our experience amazing every single time!

This has become a little highlight for me in the Calgary retail, grocery shopping space. I quite often stopped there just for the meat. They recently had a sale on tenderloin that was phenomenal. I end up opening up the vacuum pack and freezing little tenderloin portions to make for me and my kids. The quality of the meat is really good because it's AAA.nThe brisket that's vacuum packed is also a really good find when they have it. Which they are often out of because I'm sure it's so popular. It's good to mix with regular ground beef because it's a little bit fatty, but it makes absolutely the best burgers.nThey quite often also have local produce that is cheaper than superstore or no frills. And it's locally sourced which is really nice.

I just want to give a huge shout-out to Hiba at the Shaganappi store in the dairy section. She is always so welcoming, with the kindest smile that instantly makes you feel comfortable. She’s friendly, helpful, and very responsible, you can really see how much she cares about her work and the customers.nnEvery time I see her, she brightens my day. The store is honestly lucky to have someone like Hiba. Thank you, Hiba, for being so wonderful and making shopping such a pleasant experience!
