They have re arranged the store. The store looks like it out of products all the time! I really like the red Safeway soda. Every time the other brands like Pepsi and Coke are not on sale and so expensive. EVERY TIME they are then out of their brand cola soda! It a scam!!! I give no stars but it won't let Me!
The employees are so rude for absolutely no reason. There isn’t a fragment of kindness or even general bare minimum customer service to be found in this establishment. You can walk in and out without speaking to a single soul, even if you go through a cashier to pay; they won’t say hello or acknowledge you, and usually just point at the card reader to show the total. No wonder machines are taking over these types of jobs, the people working here already have no more personality than the self checkout machines. Customers can do your job as it is and you’re being slowly replaced by machinery, just be thankful you’re working in this god awful city and stop being rude to every person who walks in all because you’re miserable about scanning groceries for a living.
Re: scanning code of practice. TLDR: This store needs some serious retraining.nThis store needs a retraining of scanning code of practice. I very respectfully though i understand how people do not like to be called out noticed and called out a scanning discrepancy involving apples that were mislabeled on the shelf. They were scanning in at 8.99, when in fact they were meant to be 5.99 as shown on the flyer attached to the shelf. According to the scanning code of practice, that item should be free as the label was a current sale and it was the correct item. Now, i understand that it was a $3 discrepancy, however it is always a good learning experience for associates who have never, or perhaps very rarely, encounter this issue. It took 4 different associates if you include the store manager, which i am to resolve the matter. I did walk away with my free item and would have left it at that, but the associate that gave me that item behaved as though they were doing me a favor by giving me the item untrue and that the scanning code of practice only applies to shelf labels also untrue. I did inform them at the time of checkout that they were still wrong, that the scanning code of practice is a provincial bylaw though it is actually federal, my mistake and that it's okay to be wrong. I was met with a holier-than-thou attitude. Perhaps i came off as rude? Or condescending? But it is incredibly difficult to respectfully disagree in that sort of environment. I also realize i run the risk of coming off as an entitled customer... which i am, because i am rightfully entitled to the scanning code of practice.
Although the store is clean and organized, when I was going through the checkout the cashier did not talk to me once… she didn’t say hello, ask for my scene card, say the total, or thank me for my purchase. Super awkward encounter and pretty disappointing.
The service is excellent! I ordered a cake from the bakery and Souzan’s and Sntoonet helped me ! The both were excellent in providing all I asked for! Suzana did the best Cake ever ! Very happy with the service. Thank you
