Save-On-Foods

We decided to get a chicken from the deli and a ready to go Caesar Salad. The chicken was well cooked, nice and moist. The salad came with out any salad dressing included. Disappointed again.

Great clean grocery store. Awesome produce and vegan food selection, well for an Edmonton City. Parking can be tough. Enjoyable place to shop.

I come here because it's the closest place that has a proper selection. The produce At this store sucks unfortunately. They spray it full of water which seems to make it go bad faster. It's not unusual to buy something here and for it to go bad within a few days. I bought green beans here once and the next day there was mould on them. The people who work here seem more disheartened and down than other grocery stores.

Save-on-Foods is a very good place to buy groceries, I like to spend some time there. On special occasions is possible find even better prices. Their bakery is very good and have a plant of options to buy, . I recommend Save-on-Foods for everybody. Usually I buy in a store near to my home but the store at Calgary Trail is bigger and you can find a better grocery variety and good prices too.

Could be a great place to shop if a few things were fixed. Pros: - great produce, deli, and bakery - good selection of bulk and healthy products - huge selection of pre-packaged refrigerated and frozen items - clean, bright, orderly, well maintained - staff generally friendly and helpful Cons: - prices slightly above average even with savings card - stock selection has some holes and weak spots. For example: - meat section could use more variety. - Bread selection has been very poor and often not as fresh as could be though this has improved slightly recently - dairy selection limited. Eg last time we were there they had only one brand of sour cream Overall this is a pretty good store that could be great with a little better inventory diversity.
