This is a pretty amazing store. The selection is incredible. The layout of the store is very nice with huge high ceiling. There is a whole section of prepared food to take-out or dine-in, which includes fresh juices sandwiches, calzone, rosted chicken, sushi and desserts. A good selection of dairy and Cheeses. The prices are reasonable. It's located conveniently in the brewery district together with other stores and restaurants.
Very clean spacious pleasing downtown grocery store. Lots of parking. Unique items. Great bakery and cheeses.
Amazing selection of great groceries at reasonable prices in a fun shopping atmosphere.
The colour scheme hurts my eyes lol, it’s very bright in here and I feel like the people who work here are not that approachable? They don’t ask you if you need any help, they’re very dry when you’re checking out. However I find myself coming back for their delicious sushi, baked goods and smoothies!! They are all sooo delicious!! Some things are more expensive than others, I wouldn’t do my regular grocery shopping here.
Very very toned down location vs the other city market to be honest I was not impressed at all besides the cleanliness of the store and the security. I went to buy some bulk buns around 1 pm and they where all hard, almost like day old buns then I look at the pizza buns hahahah and might as well rename them to burnt buns lol see the pic I have provided.
Pretty good experience here. Food was good and the service was great. The restaurant was a little empty for lunch but that could have been because 104 Avenue seems to Be under endless construction.
This is my Favorite grocery store. Clean, Friendly faces. Wide assortment in deli, Meats fruits and vegetables. The People working here has an amazing vibe going through the store. It's tangible. I Love this store. There's only one Brewery District, and it's in Edmonton. What's Not to Love.
Would be nice if they also have a paper bag during check out specially if you are just buying few small things instead of buying those black bag that usually don’t get reuse. The cashier that check me out told me that they don’t have those plastic bag anymore and only those black bag but I can see from the other check out counter that they still have those green plastic bag. And I also saw the other cashier giving those transparent white bag that is often available at the vegetable section to other shopper as a courtesy since they are only buying small thing but the cashier that check me out didn’t offer anything. Kinda annoying but probably that cashier was not having a great night so far.
I use to love this store but everything is so expensive now, especially meat and produce! Plus everything is package in smaller portions. I would avoid this store if you’re trying to stick to a budget or are feeding a large family.
The butcher working on dec 22 night was amazing, super friendly. Cut the section and amount of prime rib that i need for the holiday. Super helpful. Great customer service even tho it was very busy.
