Safeway Oliver

Great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables and an in-store bakery that makes preservatives-free bread daily. Staff are long term employees who notice you and are pleasant, helpful but most notably, kind. Higher rating would have been done if prices were in line with the other 2 down town grocery stores which are less than a 20 minute walk/5 minute drive away (particularly for salads and the like).

Get the green onion cakes at this place. They are actually quite delicious. The lady that helped run up my stuff dropped the price because there wasn't a price tag on the item. Everyone at this location is quite nice.

We've been going to this Safeway for over a year since it's close by and the produce here is always dirty and doesn't last long (if it's not already rotten). Also, there isn't a great selection for anything besides apples. I would recommend going to Superstore instead. The staff at this Safeway are really nice though.

Counter service is very slow. The money transfer never works. Turmeric and cinnamon bread is not at all available even though advertised. Deli is horrible. Rude and arrogant treatment. Scratching the hairs, sweeping the floor and then serving. Expensive deli....

Very nice grocery store with bakery and deli. Great place for a quick lunch.
