Small "urban fresh" location. It has excellent quick meals such as salads, fruit bowls, and sandwiches. Would be 5/5 but their produce section is limited and not very good quality. I would recommend a short walk down the street to safeway for fresh vegetables and fruit.
This store has been a great asset to the area but now they are closing. Don't know if it was Sobey's management that decided to close or the property owner were raising the rent. I've heard both reasons. It was a great place for a quick lunch and very convenient to the University of Alberta community. It will be greatly missed!
I really love this place! The selection is limited but they have some really great ready-to-eat options that are all really fresh around lunch such as the California rolls with spicy mayo or the grilled fresh paninis like the chicken apple brie or chicken club. Unfortunately, this location is closing on June 16, 2018.
It's definitely cute. A bit limited on what you can get since it is much smaller than other grocery stores but they have the essentials for sure! I love the underground parkade - it's a beautiful thing when it's cold outside!
This place is was to overpriced for it's limited selection. I believe their only selling feature is that it is very convenient for most students which is a large selling point. Honestly it gets the job done but if you're willing to go a little further I'd recommend any other store.
Store is definitely expensive and not too much variety but the worst part is that they've now hired new cashiers that REEK. A grocery store is supposed to be clean and smell wonderful, not body odor. I really hope they see this and change things up.
Small store in a good location. My biggest issue is with the poorly trained and often rude staff. Stock is fine for a store or it's size and if you need some quick ingredients it's a good place. Other wise take your business elsewhere.
Has a nice hot menu for lunch and a nice place to grab a beer after work
Horrible service from most staff, ended up having to search the store myself for diapers and a pacifier for my daughter since no one would help me. The only person that deserves a mention is the lady that was running the deli, not only did she recognise that my daughter and I were there she ended up taking the order from my daughter and making her laugh and feel part of the transaction. If it wasn't for her, this Sobeys would receive the lowest rating possible.
The location is extremely convenient. It has the best quality produce when it comes to seafood. Very high pricing of products made me grant one less star.
