I left Edmonton, but every time I visit family I do my African groceries here to stock up until next time because Calgary African stores are not great!. Anyways, I never had an issue at Kasoa before…until this past Sunday! I’ve been needing grind ground peanut…first, no one could help me locate it and I asked the guy at the register, but the customer behind me was buying the big bags and told me where it was. I Went and realized it’s $10 which I never bought it at that price..I was like ah inflation and didn’t mind…came back to the register and the guy was buying the bigger bag for $9….huh I asked the staff why and that same customer replied “it maybe because it came from another country”…the staff said yeah that’s the reason….listen, I told him to take it out for me to see and it was from the same place…I looked at the guy…explain? He then changed to “oh that big bag is on promotion”    I would’ve switched to the big bag, but that guy took all of them. I do not like unprofessional in a business, especially if I’ve been supporting for years. I left the peanut, I would’ve took it if his reasons were making sense, in this case it didn’t! Annoyed!

I love shopping here but recently some of the items I bought was bad and I didn't notice until I opened it. Example the Loriz Butterbread had mold and I couldn't eat it. Also I got waay charged for the sardines that was supposed to be 5 for $10. I couldn't find the receipt to go back for refund. Otherwise, it's not bad.

They make a solid good effort to stock a wide range of Afrocentric products from many countries and Caribbean islands.  Affordably priced. Very good fresh snapper and other Caribbean favorites. Always has htb and yummy bun and tastee cheese. Etc. Etc. Even items like kananga water and other Benjamin favorites also stock some Lasco and Grace products

Great African foodstuff store. They have a healthy selection of food items that keep you from missing “home”.

The store has been given a new look. The facelift is most commendable. The store looks very neat and well arranged.

I shop here to find authentic west African ingredients.  Price and quality is good.

This African Store in the South of Edmonton is the cleanest African store in the city of Edmonton. Very spacious, well arranged and tagged items. The staff are always available to help customers find whatever they're looking for. One is able to find all African spices and food stuffs here at very affordable prices. The owner needs more staff to assist during check-out as the queue can be long during weekends.

Cashier was a bit slow moving, but polite and kind. Otherwise the selections were great!

I mostly found what I need there. Great selection of meats/fish and African products.

They don’t really care about customers and long time waiting to be served.
