Save-On-Foods

I dont understand. Every other store has their departments functioning. When store hours are open. Its to the point now to push a review. Because I am so tired of coming in the morning. 8...830..n9...930... doesnt matter. And nothing is out or done... You open at 7am. there are people who come here to get their sandwiches for work....lunches... Bread.. salads. And so much is empty. Grab and go ? Grab what a day old foot long ??nnThe main culprit is the bakery but the deli is following suit.nnCan you advise me if bakery and deli are on different hours and schedules because I have never seen this at another save on ever. Or competitors.nnThanksnnResponse: why don’t you just address it on here I am sure myself and others would like to hear as to why? But needless to say even the review doesn’t prompt change. Always empty now. Can’t come here in the AM any more to get anything. Change your shifts and pay people to have things ready when you OPEN

I’m really sick of;n1 having to try and track down a member of staff to get their attention to just ask for a paperbagnn2 I can be trusted to pickup and pay for $100+ of groceries but I cannot put my hands on a paper bag before both being asked if I’ve paid for it, and then quite often when answering yes I’ve paid for ALL of my shopping the staff member coming over to check I’ve paid the $0.25 for a bagnnWay to treat your customers. Everytime I come in here it’s the same hassle

Do yourself a favour, drive to Superstore which is where I now go even though this store is right near where I live. They never have anything out early in the morning or in the evenings. I work off hours and don’t have the luxury of coming at what maybe are peak shopping times. Their prices are also ridiculous. We need to put places like this out of business. They seem to be understaffed or just poorly managed too. I’m not a review guy but I was irritated into writing one.

Joyce, a cashier at this Save On Foods, was disrespectful and unprofessional.nI had an unpleasant experience at Save-On-Foods today. While using self-checkout to buy garlic, a cashier told me I was underpaying and said it was “local.” I explained that I selected the option shown in the system and asked for help to pay the correct price, but she did not help and said, “I’ll let you go this time,” which made me feel like I was doing something wrong on purpose.nI later returned to ask for a manager, but she did not call one and only then said it was not in the system and she didn’t know. I hope staff do not treat customers this way or make them feel guilty without reason.

I visited the Save-On-Foods store in Calgary and honestly found the prices quite high compared to other grocery stores. Even items marked “on sale” were more expensive than regular prices at Walmart or Superstore. Diapers and some basic food items were especially overpriced. The store is clean and organized, but the pricing really needs improvement if they want families to shop here more often.
