Real Canadian Superstore Calgary 6th Ave

One of the things I like about the Real Canadian Superstore is their huge selection of meat. Seafood, chicken, pork and of course this beautiful blade steak! Unfortunately, prices are outrageous but, Superstore often has amazing deals and this is one of them!nSuperstore is clean, brightly lit with usually extremely helpful if staff speaks English.nThe best part of Superstore in addition to the their huge selection, wide aisles and shopping carts is their fantastic prices!nFor struggling shoppers and families, this is a Godsend.nSuperstore also has an incredible Flashfood App for even more savings up to 50% off.

I've come here a few times over the years and have to remind myself each time not to come back. If you live on the east side of downtown this place is probably your best bet for cheaper shopping, but if you're on the west side of downtown there are other superstores you can get to. Firstly there are lots of people I know who don't necessarily feel overly safe here. I think it is better now and there are definitely security guards that make themselves visible.nSecondly, I've never found this store to be well-stocked. I came here for batteries the other day and they virtually had three selections. I came here for canned tomatoes today and they were all out of the brand that I wanted. And there were many cans of many different items that would damaged and dinged.nTo their credit they do have some interesting items that come through that I don't see at other superstores - like this week they have some great frozen burritos.nIt's also never that busy here, thankfully.nThe underground parking is also a very simple process and there are always many spaces.nOverall not a bad option if this is all you have but if you can spend a few minutes to drive to another Superstore you'll find other stores are cleaner, feel safer and better stocked.

The only grocery store in downtown Calgary, and the only superstore in town with a heated, underground parking. The store is usually well stocked, organized, easy to navigate, and without crazy lineups at the cashiers. The main disadvantage however is its location right across the drop in centre, so there is a noticeable and constant presence of vagrant population in the immediate vicinity and sometimes, inside the store itself as a result. Also, avoid the bathrooms at all costs, easily the sketchiest and filthiest bathrooms in the city.

Not good. They overbooked for grocery pickup on a Saturday night and my order was not even built at the time I was supposed to come pick it up. I’ve had other times where I’ve waited for my groceries for 45+ minutes. Many of the adult men who come here are creepy and I have been harassed in the parking lot, not to mention the plethora of drug users in and around the store. One positive is staff I have interacted with are generally nice and helpful, but I will never come here again. If you value your time and safety you shouldn’t either.

Terrible service at this pharmacy.nnCarline is worst staff here.nnFor two days they’ve kept me waiting and ignoring my prescription. Even after calling an hour ahead, nothing was ready when I arrived. Staff are slow and unprofessional, specially Carline the black lady she is uneducated unprofessional and super slow. Trying to make a reason to not help.nnexcept Temore, who was the only one educated and fast. Worst experience ever.
