Freestone Produce is a family owned business that has one of the best supportive prices for produce in Alberta Calgary. You cant beat their prices they are 3 times cheaper than regular big retailers. They have a great variety of produce Market including olives oil rice and many many other products. Please visit them in their only location Calgary Alberta.
While the products are affordable, there are no fresh items available, and you may encounter some that are spoiled which they are still selling with lower price, I'm curious why the Canadian food quality control hasn't taken any action against this type of shop!
The items and the prices are very good. You can get a variety of fresh produce and other grocery items for very very low prices. The staff are also super helpful and polite.nThe only issue I have with freestone is the parking is limited for the amount of customers they get at any given time so if you are going there you need to factor in another 10-15 minutes to navigate the parking lot.
Was definitely not prepared for something of this scale. It almost reminded me of an middle eastern/ Asian Costco. As a person whose born and raised in the UAE, there were a lot of products that reminded me of home! The produce is fresh. Strawberries were a great deal. 8 boxes 450g each for only 10$ and no rotten ones. That’s something to talk about! Definitely won’t be doing avocados but the rest of it in terms of fruits and veggies is kinda hard to beat. Bags of rice, flour, grains are really affordable. If you’re into indomie they have a whole carton for 15$. You can’t really escape the crowds. It’s a wee bit hard for people who are claustrophobic.
OK, now I understand the hype!nIt's really nice to get a fridge full of fruit and veggies without thinking too much about the cost.nPeople made valid points here too, like parking there is nearly impossible sometimes we lose interest of shopping before we get the chance to park!
