Safeway North Hill

Very nice store that appeared clean and we'll stocked with fresh produce and other items. Staff were found to be very nice and accommodating and were generally pleasant. The in house based goods are pleasing and worth a try. This is a good spot to try out for you grocery needs if you haven't yet.

Never been a fan of this store. Rude staff & a Manager who has no concern when you complain about bad service...the Bowness location with their awesome staff make this one look like a Mom & Pop from the 50's...nnUPDATE: I was in there shopping today 9/8/24 & this is what $145.00 worth of groceries looks like. Who ever imagined their favourite Laundry Soap would one day cost $31.99 only weeks ago it was $28.99 I wish Walmart was closer to where I live because its only $21.99 everyday there.nnWonder how it feels as a multi miilion dollar empire that you are directly contributing to the financial hardships of everyday Canadians & their Families all for the sake of Profits for a Chosen Few....

I used to visit this Safeway at least twice a week, had good service and easy to find stuffs. But now it’s so bad that staffs are rude as if they are working for free and don’t care about the customers, even with assisting old people. Management should take steps, I'm sad that I had to move to other retailers. Still I know two to three really good staffs but collectively i would say the worst Safeway in recent times.

Great store, newly.renovated and stocked with many more items than the smaller Safeway stores. Clean and well organized. Easy to find what you are looking for. Fantastic bakery. Huge variety of fresh produce. And it also has a pharmacy located in the back of the store. In addition to all that, they have a fabulous deli and sandwich counter in the front of the store serving fresh made sandwiches while you wait.
