"Nestled in the heart of Royal Bay in Colwood we are a family owned small business that has been a part of this wonderful community for over 45 years. Everything that we make is made from scratch daily and we source local ingredients and use all organic when possible. We are Green certified partly because we are powered by solar panels and we have a level 2 EV charger. We have a small patio outside for people to sit at but we are mainly take out only due to COVID regulations. We would love the opportunity to serve everyone because if you haven’t tried our product you haven’t lived!!"

A gem of a bakery! This is a smallish bakery in a great location. They have a huge selection of cookies and pastries to choose from. Their bacon breakfast sandwich tasted so good and the sausage roll was excellent. The service was vey fast and friendly. We'll definitely come back.
So much to choose from. Even though I've driven by this place so many times, I've never gone in until today. GEEZE so many incredible and delicate pastries. Took a snapshot of the one that was my favourite. Can't remember the name but they are gently sweet, airy and light. Tastes just divine! The Ciabatta buns were so soft, and the bread ladder was so delicious as well. Customer service was outstanding. I will definitely come back.
Bottom line is they have very good baked goods from desserts and sweets to lunch items. My partner and I have been heading out that way for several weeks on Saturdays and it has become part of our routine. One week, however, we switched to Sunday only to discover they close on Sundays. Be aware if you go. Here's a couple of other observations. We have never had a problem parking. They do limit the number of people inside at one time but sometimes it feels crowded. The customer space is small. The coffee is good. They have quite a few people on staff so you are attended to quickly and the staff is friendly. They have a small seating area inside and a nice patio outside. The exit door is heavy and hard to open for seniors and small people. We'll miss them this weekend but we stop there each Saturday. They have a good selection of Vegetarian/Vegan items. I highly recommend the vegetable or mushroom strudel.
Great local bakery with delicious donuts and coffee. Great spot for quick lunches, before work trips and after school brews. They have a amazing breakfast sandwich with every fixing you can want. Fresh everyday donuts that will melt in your mouth these things are massive and priced super fairly and they have nice lattes which honestly paired up with everything else makes this a pretty regular spot for me Also the staff is quite friendly and pleasant the atmosphere it’s quaint and has a good flow with a nice little outdoor patio. I just wish they where open a little earlier since some days I work quite early but honestly that’s not really a gripe but a wish.
Some of the most delectable treats in Vic. From scones to cookies to pastries and even their breakfast/lunch items. If you've never been, make a point of it. They are super friendly and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and there truly IS something there for everyone.
Was excited to try this bakery. Went and bought a couple of donuts, rosette, croissant and a couple of other things. Tried the rosette and it was stale. It must have been a couple of days old. Tried every bite if every donut no crunch to them they were not good. It must have been a couple of days old too. The croissant, every croissant I had from every bakery I have been to was fresh and had a crunch to it. This one none it must have been a couple of days old too. The best thing I had was the mushroom strudel. Thankfully out of the whole box I bought there was 1 thing that was a hit. $30 later. Nothing I had tasted fresh. Only the studel because it was heated. But definitely will not come back here again.
I'm glad they are open Saturdays, or I'd never be able to come. I've never tried the pizzas or other things like that, but all the baked goods and hot drinks are absolutely delicious. I love the chai latte, chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, donuts, it's all delicious.
We’ve ordered cupcakes from them over a dozen times and sometimes regardless of us specifically asking for only vanilla cupcakes they’d include a bunch of chocolate cupcakes which we can’t have and attach the receipt showing/stating “vanilla cupcakes only”. I’ve found this very weird and unkind. Also been in the store personally and didn’t quite like the service but I’m not particularly bothered about that, just giving someone something you know they didn’t order, a few times, is wrong and weird.

Fantastic bakery with so many nice things. Usually pretty busy because it's so popular. They serve coffee, breakfast sandwiches, regular sandwiches, ice cream, and cakes and other pastries too.
