Parachute Ice Cream

Came here a few days ago and it was absolutely wonderful! I had high expectations of this place and if exceeded my expectations. Me and my friend got london fog and cookie monster! 2 scoops was $8.50 each. Very reasonable for the amount and quality of the ice cream that is locally made. I highly recommend this place and the flavour cookie monster. They also have gluten free and vegan flavours available and a freezer of take home ice cream.

I am from Ottawa and came here on the recommendation of my sister. The experience was perfect. There is plenty of on street parking around the location. Staff suggested the lemon meringue flavour, which was delicious and not overly sweet. Price point was what one would expect for a small business if this type. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Totally recommend and hope to visit again before returning home.

One of my favourite ice cream places in Victoria. They always have a great selection of flavours and there’s often little pieces of cake/cookies in there. The consistency of the ice cream is always smooth and chewy. Had the oatmeal chocolate chip and loved it.

The limited flavors keeps you coming back for more. I am from Vancouver and everytime I come visit on the island this is on our list of things to get. The cookie dough is amazing, the quality ingredients are unique from any store bough flavors. Recommend anyone looking for a delightful treat.

Located in the more industrial side of Victoria, ice cream is one of the top choice. You can buy the ice cream by the pint for 10$. That being said, locally owned and I’ve cream made in store. There are some great flavours, favourites are carrot cake and mini eggs when in season. The customer service has always been great when I’ve gone and despite reviews with 1 star saying it’s awful, the shop is busy due to it being popular and having good ice cream not due to lack of care from employees. Additionally I think I read that the shop was not sanitary, it looks clean every time, even when they are working on making ice cream, cones. Highly recommend!

Visiting from the Okanagan and Parachute was HIGHLY recommended. Did not disappoint! Best icecream I've had so far. Amazing flavours and wonderful staff! If you're anything like me, the texture of the icecream will please you!

Friends in Victoria told us about this ice cream place. It is definitely quite delicious. You can tell the ice cream is artisan style. Ordered the pumpkin pie and strawberry cheesecake. Absolutely tasty! A couple things to note: 1 the portion. I ordered single scoop with half half flavours. It is definitely more like two full double scoops. that said, high CP cost–performance value! 2 the hours of operation. It only opens until 7pm unlike Vancouver places.

Excellent ice-cream. Delicious flavours and nice to support a small local company Hopefully they pay their employees well for the cost. The Lemon Meringue Pie flavour is my favorite, and I don't even like lemon meringue pie! A fantastic fresh lemon flavour with little bits of pie crust is everything I didn't know I needed in my life.

We love Parachute! Their lemon cream, gingersnap, and strawberry cheesecake are our faves but we like to try their seasonal ice creams, too. Their cones are so good, too! Oh and we really love that you can get one scoop two flavours!

Our family loves this spot. Such a unique location but very accessible with lots of parking. I love the variety of flavours and how they constantly swap them! There is always GF & dairy free options which is appreciated.
