We just spent 4 nights in the Quebec City Marriott and thanks to Germain, Jeremie, Anise and the rest of the great Marriott staff we had an absolutely wonderful visit. this hotel is a very efficient business hotel. it has close proximity to the Old Town. but slightly unremarkable as a hotel. what I will say the hotel is exceptional at and worth your while to stay with these people is that the individuals that will service you and help you and guide you our exceptional. from Christian to Thomas to Germaine to Cedric everyone has your best interests at heart and I would highly recommend this place for those people alone.
This hotel is in an excellent location. The service was not only friendly, but knowledgeable about the area. They were very accommodating to our needs.nThe hotel is under renovation: although it did not interfere with the trip, the pictures of the hotel were totally different than the reality. I can’t see how the new look will at all resemble the pictures. Regardless, it was a wonderful stay.
Location is absolutely perfect. If you are looking for an hotel that control your room temperature to save money, that’s the place to go. No control at all on fan and heating system run for 30 seconds and come back an hour later. So basically for more than every 50 minutes, no air circulation and windows don’t open. Cannot go below 20 degrees, when the sun hit the windows, make sure to bring your bathing suit and yes, this is in April. The heating system screen goes black and you cannot see anything for couple of hours. Hotel staff said that it’s normal as they are having this on-going issue all the time. Advised the hotel staff when leaving the hotel on our last day. Not sure if I talk to the staff or the wall behind him. Same reaction!! We had two Rooms booked as our friends were spending the weekend with us. Both room were exactly the same. Knowing that the electricity in La Belle Province is the cheaper in North America, I honestly don’t understand how an hotel can be that cheap.nBeautiful city as usual and people very friendly , next time it will be anything that is not related to this hotel.
Great staff, and location....nMake sure to ask for a room without a bathtub, because the shower curtain makes the whole room smell! The shower curtain doesn't dry properly, so it ends up smelling. The other room had a shower, and it didn't smell.nOther than that, the hotel is good. Staff were very friendly and location is great
