We had a lovely and very comfortable visit at the Delta during a quick trip to Quebec City.nnThe renovations did cause some confusion on our part for navigating parking and getting in and out of the hotel, but we did receive information ahead of time that was meant to help with that and staff were always available and happy to answer our questions.nnThe rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the restaurant both mornings and a late checkout thanks to my Bonvoy status and our room had a beautiful view of the city.nnThe staff was friendly and welcoming - it was obvious they were doing their best despite all the renovation chaos! We certainly would not suggest people stay elsewhere just because of the renovations.nnWe’d come back in a heartbeat for the location alone - super close to everything we needed and wanted.nnThanks for a wonderful visit!

We had decentnroom that was comfortable, clean and quite.nIt is really close to the old port so you can walk to the most of city's attractions.nParking was available which is really a necessity in that area. The ambiance is not luxury. It's a fair and convenient choice if you visit Quebec city.

One word: NoisennTL;DR if you are bothered by noise, ask for a room on the 10th floor or lower.nnThe good: the rooms are nice, most not all of the staff is courteous and nice, the location is pretty good, very close to the old Quebec.nThe OK: The shower is ok and the bed too.nThe bad: noise.. I was on the 12th floor and the noise on a nearby machine, apparently in other building made it very difficult to sleep. I measured the noise, with my phone and it said 52 DB. It felt noisier than that. At 2am I couldn't stand it anymore, I took my stuff and went downstairs to ask for another room. The night person was accommodating and told me that it was not the first time people requested changes for that floor. And they got me a room on the 11th floor.nThe noise in that room was 43 DB. In theory you should sleep with noise less than 40 and close to 30 DB. My night was ruined.nThe night person offered a late checkout which I couldn't use because morning meetings.nThe morning, a pipe broke and it was a mess.nThe receptionist at check out didn't ask how it went, maybe because of the mess. And when I said that it was really not good because of the noise, she said that she was going to put a note for the room... No empathy whatsoever.nnI like the Delta brand, and I saw a few of the things I like about their hotels in this one, but the experience was very frustrating.

While many of the reviews discuss the renovation taking place and they talk about how dated the hotel is, all of this is true, however, the hotel staff are trying very hard to still ensure everyone has a great stay.nUpon our arrival the front desk staff were welcoming, funny, and did a great job ensuring everything was explained.  The decor in the public areas are very dated, but that did not impact our stay. Our room was clean and nothing was in disrepair or broken. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was nice and hot. The room was slightly worn/dated but served our purpose, so we could see beautiful Quebec.nIn the restaurant, I have seen some reviews about the pricing, there are options here as well. You can do the hot and cold buffet for $25, but you can also do the continental cold buffet for a lower price, or the pastry and coffee for a lower price. There are a few grocery stores just 1.5 blocks away if you are looking to save more money.nnThanks for a great stay.

On the website, when booking the room, showed the breakfast and parking were included/free. When we arrived the front desk person said it is not included even when I showed to her that it is. Also, to get into the rooms you have to walk a long distance to get into the elevators and even after change to another one. I’d say is not really accessible for some people. Building was under renovations so it was not very asterisk. Personally, choose another place to stay.
