Check in was easy and friendly. Great location across from the convention center and Parliament building across the street. Very central location to many restaurants. The room is pretty standard 3rd floor river view. It was clean but slightly disappointing that their is no luggage rack had to ask for one. There was no tissue, just 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. The two small bars of hand soap is underwhelming. The room was clean and king bed very comfy. For the $$$, it was just a bit short of expectations.
After a disappointing experience at another hotel, I decided to stay for two nights at the Hilton Quebec, and it was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Although our room wasn't ready upon arrival, the staff graciously offered us a complimentary drink while we waited and provided access to the Lounge area.nnOur room on the 21st floor was perfect, with stunning views of the city that were truly breathtaking. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Every detail was just right, making our stay at the Hilton an absolute pleasure.nnIf you're looking for excellent service, beautiful accommodations, and a wonderful overall experience in Quebec, I highly recommend the Hilton Quebec. It made our trip memorable for all the right reasons.
Beautiful hotel located very close to Old Quebec. Very comfortable beds and nicely appointed rooms. Nice showers.nBad restaurant however. Don’t eat there.nMany nice restaurants within 6 minutes walk of hotel.nPick up the Hop On and Hop Off right outside of hotel.nOnly disappointment was that they did not welcome us as Hilton Honor members and got 0 points since I booked thru the cruise line. Stupid rule.
Mediocrity seems to be the motto of this hotel. Hole in the wall, lumpy soft mattress, lack of basic amenities. Had to ask for soap. The floor was clearly not vacuumed between guests and I told the manager Jaywhat was left on the floor, I also told him I picked up the papers but left the pen on the floor. Two days later it the penwas still left on the floor. Hole still in wall. The pictures show the hole and the shower head which did little more than trickle water. Note that this is full force and no water is coming out the top of the shower head.nnCannot recommend this hotel to anyone. The hallways were no better with glasses in the halls for hours.nnI booked through Capitol One Travel, and was told that I didn’t book through Hilton, even though I am an Honors Member, so I won’t get points or nights. I was told this when I confirmed the reservation, when I checked in and when I spoke to the manager. Really, if not booked in Hilton website, your room doesn’t matter. Second class citizen? Canceled my stay in NYC with Hilton and found another hotel that has much better reviews. Truly irritated. Grateful not to have stayed another day.nnFollow up 10/7/2024: Did exactly as tweeted and sent email. Never heard a word back. They followed up exactly as good as you would expect from the initial stay - they do nothing. They do not reply. Pathetic.
My family and I had a pleasant few days here. The location is great, the views are excellent, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The staff in the executive lounge are always helping guests with various issues. The breakfast is very good, and the swimming pool is also very convenient, though it might be a bit cold if the weather is chilly outside.
