Inspired by the year of Quebec City’s founding on the very exact site of this Bar, the new 1608 Wine & Cheese Bar will offer one of the largest varieties of top Quebec cheeses in Canada, sourced from its unique Cheese Room, and coupled with the top wine offerings the world has to offer.
Overlooking the St. Lawrence River, this new bar will showcase one of the province’s most stunning views.

Came here for our anniversary and stayed on the gold floor. Unfortunately there was a fire one early morning so the gold lounge was no longer accessible. The staff were diligent in evacuating the hotel and keeping everyone up to date. They provided coffee, water and snacks to everyone while we waited for the all clear to go back to our rooms. We were able to get another room as the elevators to the gold floor were not working. The staff were all so helpful.nThe hotel is beautiful and clean. The restaurants and bars were nice.
We had to move rooms twice to get a good nights sleep. The first morning we were woken up by loud drilling at 8 am. We were moved to a different room and heard the elevator all night.nFinally they put us in a quiet room for our final night. Thank you Cindy!nnThe breakfast food was not very good, but the service was very friendly.nnThe hotel is constantly full of tour groups or other people not staying at the hotel and using the elevator could take up 15 minutes.nnIts not a luxury hotel if they don't have the basics covered, especially having construction in the mornings. I wish I would have stayed elsewhere.
Absolutely beautiful we didn’t stay there but went almost every day of our trip. We had a gorgeous view of it all wk. i miss it so so much!! And we have an ocean view here in So Cal, lol!! They have some really cool history timelines downstairs. We esp liked the one about the history of the wine bottle
Very nice hotel on the fancy side.nHistoric, great location, attentive staff. Room was not up to par with price. Cobwebs on the ceiling, hairs in the bathroom and a huge dehumidifier in front of the room. Which was noisy but acceptable once the door was close and tv on. Would recommend if you are into historic place and want to splurge a little.
Exquisite hotel in a magical location. Near old Quebec city. Close to so many wonderful restaurants. You just can't go wrong. Food is good too. The SAM bistro was fantastic and the breakfast buffet was delicious and generous. If you can afford it, don't hesitate. It is worth it.
